„We had a wonderful stay overall. Our first evening, we went down to Lincoln State Park and did some hiking/swimming. The next 2 days, we ventured to Holiday World, which was an extremely easy drive from this location. We had a group of 12 people, 5 adults/7 kids, and we comfortably fit in this house. It was wonderful to have the air mattress and pull out couch available to make it happen! Kitchen was also great and included everything we needed to prepare our meals. Only negative to this house ...

Jodey was very responsive and extremely helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return for a Christmas visit to Santa Claus.“

„We typically stay in Ferdinand every year for a family reunion. We weren't able to stay at our normal place this year and found this on a whim. It was absolutely perfect. My mother was with us and I had a recent knee injury. Everything was easy in and out, the layout was also convenient. It is certainly in an area that we call God's Country, but the STARS you see at night are worth it! Amazing. The cozy porch was perfect for star gazing or morning coffee. „This was our families second time to stay at Martin Ridge. We love it here. Something for everyone, pool, fishing wonderful surroundings. The house was immaculate and it is equipped with everything you would have in your home. Joanne and her family are wonderful hosts. Met her grandsons and they are polite, respectful and wonderful boys. Already booked for next year!“

„We brought our son and his wife and kids to our holiday world mini vacation. There was plenty of space for all of us and lots of space for the kids to run and play. They even had games for the kids. The place was exactly as described. The host was very easy to communicate with and promp with responses. We will definitely plan to stay there again!“

„We had a very short visit at this property but would have been happy staying much longer. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all types of meals, there was a full size washer & dryer and the beds were comfy. Great little touches, like board games and a selection of DVDs and an outdoor fire pit (bring your own wood) with seating and an outdoor grill. Nice yard for the kids to run around, play catch, etc. Even though it was on a main road, it was very quiet.“

There’s actually a second toilet in the laundry room in the basement, with a sink right outside outside the door.“

„It was perfect for us and very close to the community center, tavern, and general store. The river is just across the street and we were able to enjoy the view right off the front porch. The only thing I would change is the mattress in the back room, we sleep good but the front bedroom mattress was a better sleep. We would most definitely book again at this property.“
