Geräumige Schlaf- und Badezimmer, ein riesiges Wohnzimmer, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und viiiiiel Platz um das Haus herum. Es ist wirklich alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub vorhanden. „Maison comme sur les photos, la piscine est immense et la terrasse est ombragée par un arbre immense. Joseph était aux petits soins pour nous et très réactif à nos demandes et en plus il parle un peu le français! La piscine est contrôlée tous les 2 jours. Les points négatifs sont la pression et l’eau chaude dans les douches….impossible de se laver à 4 en même temps à moins d’aimer l’eau froide. Le wifi n’est pas très performant à l’extérieur.“

„Perfect stay for a rural Tuscan experience with a scenic view down the hillside and towards Siena from the heated pool. The house has a chef's kitchen that is very well equipped and a lovely dining space, perfect for small groups or families. Mido was incredibly responsive and helpful in scheduling activities for our visit - highly recommend!“

„Großes Haus, gut ausgestattete Küche für große Gruppen, ruhige Lage mit Fernblick. Es sind 800 steile Meter Schotter bis zur Hauptstraße, wir mussten unsere Rennräder dorthin hochschieben. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön, das Haus hat Charme und etwas Patina, wie bei älteren Landhäusern üblich. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut.“

The host was extremely responsive about the check-in process leading up to the stay, during the stay whenever we had any issues, and even after our stay when we needed to recover an item that was left behind. „We had a 2 week pleasant stay at Macinella. House and equipment is not new, but fit-for-purpose and shows a lot of style and character. Rosella and Stelio have been very nice to us and helpful. The house is best suited as a quiet and relaxing hideaway for a few days. Siena, San Gimignano and Florenz can be well reached by car. Supermarkets within 3km reach.“

It was great to be able to relax by the pool in the peace of the countryside amongst the olive groves while still being only a short walk away from Siena, we just wish we could have stayed for longer!“
