„We came back to this property for a second time. We were able to experience it during the winter season and it was great! It was so nice to be able to walk right out to the lake from the backyard and go ice fishing. Our dog came with us and enjoyed his stay as well. Perfect little getaway, year round!“

„This was my second visit to this lovely "cabin in the woods", it's a great retreat from the everyday stressors of life. This is the place for you, if you're looking for a return to the days of old. There's plenty to do including hiking, basketball, badminton, and other outdoor activities. Indoors we had the benefit of no distractions from phone calls or the television while we played card games, listened to music, and did arts & crafts. We are looking forward to our next getaway!“

„The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. "Die Lage war für uns optimal, aber das Hotelzimmer war dunkel und muffig und die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Room-Service gibt es nur auf Bestellung und maximal alle 3 Tage. Man kann aber an der Rezeption zumindest immer frische Handtücher bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, aber alles mit Einweggeschirr und Einwegbesteck."
