„Had a nice long weekend stay. Meet our adult daughter and her fiancé for some family time.The lake house was just as pictured. Everything was labeled. They had more than expected for us to use. Everything we needed. Beach towels, Suntan lotion, mosquito spray, games, Keurig, etc. The couch and the beds were very comfortable. We swam in the lake every day. There are boats to rent, but since we didn’t have the experience we decided not to. Maybe next time. Thanks for a great time. “

„We loved our stay! The tiki theme made it feel like a little slice of paradise. The lake was wonderful. The included use of the kayaks and paddle boards was really nice! We made a fire in the firepit outside and used the hot tub while we watched a movie on the TV behind the bar. The loft is nicely appointed and has everything you need, including games (we played Pictionary!). We'll definitely be back again. Thank you to our hosts!“

„This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!“

„The location on the river is amazing. Even better than we expected. Pricing is on point. We found it very relaxing in the mornings to sit out front and have a coffee. In the afternoons it was fun to swim and watch the boats go by. We did some fishing and caught some bluegill and perch.The host were very friendly and had great communication. I would give the hosts & rental 10 stars if I could but it only allows me to give 5!“

„The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip!“

„We really liked this rental. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy with the neighbors but things calmed down over the week which was nice. The screened porch was great and we used it a lot. One thing to be aware of which is not a criticism it's just how it is, that the swimming platform in front of the property is not owned by the property (it's been upgraded from the pictures in the listing and there are two diving boards on it and it's really nice). „Our family had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. The owners thought of literally everything! Every room was very clean and wonderfully decorated. Downstairs was a hit with the kids. Very peaceful and enjoyable place. There was a family of swans right by the shore. It was fun watching them. The owners were very responsive and helpful. „Stayed here for a long weekend with a larger group (12) and rented the lodge and suite. Cant beat the location right on the water with dock and kayaks to borrow. Close (walking distance) to bars, groceries, Croton village, and 5min to the tubing rental. Host was great at communicating thru the frustrating VBRO app and let us get the units we needed for a large group and was flexible, and helped me retrieve a lost item as well.“
