I should have read the previous review (...sadly it wasn't available at the time of booking) because basically a similar thing happened. Even though booking in advance and receiving 24hrs-confirmation, Hsuites96 sent an email 7hrs before the check-in that it cannot honor our reservation. Of course we were already traveling to the place and - probably as most international travelers, limited access to the internet. When we arrived at the premise shortly after 17:00, nobody opened even though somebody was inside, and no one answer to phone calls. I had to find internet and realize that hotels.com sent an email at 16:45 Hotels.com staff that they organized an alternative - not in the city of San Sebastian but outside, but they were very helpful. Because of Hsuites96, we not just lost a couple hours of nerves and time for something else that evening, it cost us additionally for call roaming charges and for the internet. And far more relevant - it screwed up our travel plans and enjoyment for the reminder of the vacation. If that wouldn't be enough, they charged us for this non-stay and I am currently still having to put in time to receive a reimbursement. This is my first negative review on any site. Things can happen, but the handling of the issue from the side of Hsuites96 is a disgrace. Offers such as Hsuites96 should be banned from hotels.com. We will think twice of booking apartments and better opt for the conventional hotels.
