Multiple issues with this property. First the good – our room was lovely with plenty of space and light, a charming brick barrel ceiling, comfortable bed, and the location is very central, quiet, and peaceful. But no comfortable place to sit or read, just the bed and a cramped little desk with a hard wood chair. Definitely needs a good chair or small sofa which there's clearly room for. Now the bad – the floors were filthy and hadn't been cleaned in ages; they turned everything that touched them black with dirt. We asked for them to be cleaned, and they just ran a damp mop in circles which wasn't near enough. WiFi is extremely weak across the property. The hotel washing machines shared a wall with our room, very loud and ran for hours. For some reason a man was walking on the ledge directly outside our window on two occasions, especially unnerving for my wife. They never had any coffee available in the free coffee area, pods or drip. The public seating areas are all uncomfortable, and the staff just sits around without much interest in service. Finally, hotel access is weird, hard for taxis to find, and challenging with luggage as it sits in a narrow passageway next to and below the bridge road. It's a very narrow passageway, up and down multiple outside stairs, hidden from view. Not much room to carry bags or even wide enough for an umbrella if it rains. We wouldn't choose to stay here again and can't recommend Villa Limon to others.
