The plan is the same as always: the San Juan reservoir and its swimming areas are open, the old town and restaurants are open, and the walking routes and viewpoints are available. All three bathrooms have walk-in showers with handmade furniture and towel rails for storage. They include a full towel set per guest: bath, hand and face towels with beautiful floral motifs that echo the hillsides around. The soaps are handmade aloe vera from "Enjabonate": they smell wonderful. Hair dryer available. 🍳 KITCHEN The kitchen is one of the great sources of pride in this house: built from the old wooden beams that could not be reused in the roof and which, with care and respect for the work of previous generations, were given a new life by skilled craftspeople. On arrival, Paula will give you a welcome tour of the house and open the Wine Cellar Museum so you can see it and enjoy its history: tools, barrels and objects that tell the story of winemaking in the area across generations. Once the tour is over, the cellar stays closed for the rest of the stay to preserve it. The town's central square, with the church that gives the "Valley of the Seven Churches" its name, surrounded by historic architecture and the authentic atmosphere of a mountain town that knows exactly what it is. 🏰 Castillo de la Coracera — 450 m on foot. By car: roughly 55 minutes from Madrid on the A-5, taking the exit for San Martín. By public transport: bus line 551 leaves from Príncipe Pío (Madrid) and stops in San Martín de Valdeiglesias in about 55 minutes, a few minutes' walk from the property.
