Paso Robles, an award-winning wine destination, is just a fifty-minute drive away.

This cottage is located to the right of a public laundromat and across from a mobile home park. The laundromat is open to the public and used regularly throughout the day. These machines are coin operated. The mobile home park is occupied by families and children so please be aware of your noise and activity level. Our community takes great pride in having a respectful and safe neighborhood. 













Cleaning Policy



Keeping our guests safe and our cottages clean is our top priority. We follow an extensive list of cleaning and sanitizing instructions. Please refer to the Baywood Cottage binder located on top of the peninsula for reference.

Guest Access:

Parking



As our special guest(s) you are granted one off-street parking space on the property. Parking is straight towards the back of the driveway entry.  Please be courteous of the neighboring vehicles and space around you as there is only one way for egress. If you have more than one vehicle please park the second vehicle on the street (free of charge).



The Neighborhood:

Baywood in Los Osos is a charming beach community located on the back bay. The area is surrounded by great places to eat, drink and hang out, and it is in close proximity to other beautiful coastal towns like Morro Bay, Cayucos, and Cambria. Baywood offers a variety of activities year-round, including free live music and entertainment. Visitors can also enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, spa treatments, and much more. The area also has a local Farmers Market on Mondays, and the Sea Pines Golf Course offers free live music and fun activities for families on Saturdays. For outdoor enthusiasts, Montana De Oro State Park and Elfin Forest offer beautiful trails and breathtaking coastal views. Visitors are advised to plan accordingly as there is limited service from Lyft, Uber, and taxis due to the semi-remote location. Finally, guests of Baywood Cottage are welcome to use the onsite laundromat, which is also regularly used by locals. Please be respectful of their presence and keep noise and activity to a minimum, as the cottage is located across the street from a mobile home park occupied by families and children.



Getting Around:

Everything you need is within walking distance a bike ride or a short drive. Please take into consideration that Uber, Lyft and taxi's have limited availability due to location in a semi remote area.



Other Things to Note:

*All bookings are required to agree to our rental agreement terms prior to check-in. A copy will be provided upon reservation confirmation. Also, payment processing fess are non-refundable.



DOG POLICY: This property is dog friendly. There is an additional pet stay fee of $100 for booking with a dog. (Low shedding dogs under 50 pounds are allowed, dogs over 50 lbs with low shedding will be considered on a case by case basis.) If you are considering bringing your furry family member, please let the host know when you book. Thank you! *Pet must be 12 mo. or older *Pets must not be left unattended at anytime during your visit (even if outside) *Pets must be kept off of the furniture -- please bring suitable bedding *Pets must be free of fleas and up to date on a flea control treatment *Pets are required to have all current vaccinations (Parvo) *We require all pet poop to be thoroughly cleaned up around the property. *If there is damage to furniture, property, or left over pet waste due to your dog, there will be an extra $150 charge added at check out, along with additional charges for any other damages. Guests who book our dog friendly rooms without a dog accompanying them will not be charged the separate dog fee.
