Lage: Luquillo, Puerto Rico, ist eine malerische und ruhige kleine Küstenstadt, einzigartig 30 min. Von San Juan International Airport, 10 Minuten zum El Yunque Regenwald und 10 Minuten von Fajardo.

Diese schöne, neu renovierte Wohnung befindet sich im 12. Stock von Playa Azul, Gebäude Nr. 1, von wo aus Sie die 3 Gebäude des Komplexes Playa Azul bestens bewundern können. In der Wohnung bieten neue, deckenhohe Fenster eine kühle Meeresbrise und eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Deckenventilatoren und Luftverhältnisse sorgen für eine gute Belüftung der Wohnung.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Zwei klimatisierte Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer, jedes mit eigenem Bad und begehbarem Kleiderschrank. (Eines verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und Französisch Türen zum Balkon; das andere hat 2 Queensize-Betten und einen spektakulären Blick auf das Meer). Eine voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über einen Geschirrspüler, eine Mikrowelle, einen Herd und eine Waschmaschine / Trockner. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen 40-Zoll-Flachbild-Smart-TV mit Kabel- und WLAN-Internetverbindung.

Zu den Annehmlichkeiten auf dem Gelände gehören: Privater Parkplatz, ein Schwimmbad, Tennis- und Basketballplätze und ein Kinderspielplatz. Es gibt einen 24-Stunden-Sicherheitsdienst an der Eingangstür und in der Lobby. Supermarkt, Apotheke und Bank mit Geldautomaten sind zu Fuß erreichbar oder eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt.

Playa Azul Beach liegt vor Gebäude # 1 und ist hübsch und nicht überfüllt. Es gibt jedoch keine Rettungsschwimmer und die Strömungen können manchmal stark sein. Beachten Sie unbedingt die Farbmarkierungswarnungen, da manchmal starke Strömungen auftreten können. Liegestühle und Strandtücher stehen Ihnen in der Wohnung zur Verfügung. Wenn Sie lieber einen Strand mit ruhigerem Wasser, Annehmlichkeiten, Parkplätze und Rettungsschwimmer im Dienst haben, ist der berühmte Strand von Balneario La Monserrate - Luquillo nur 2 Fahrminuten von Playa Azul entfernt. In drei Minuten erreichen Sie die berühmten "Kioskos von Luquillo", wo Sie die gute, authentische lokale Küche genießen können. Ansonsten können Sie eine größere Entfernung zu gehobenen Restaurants in Fajardo oder in Richtung San Juan fahren.

Die Wohnung hat ein Gästebuch mit Anregungen, wo man essen und Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Sie können schöne Wasserfälle oder Seilbahnen im Regenwald wandern, einen Schnorchelausflug buchen, in der biolumineszierenden Bucht Kajak fahren, in Fajardo tauchen, Jet-Skis am Strand von Luquillo mieten, reiten oder Gokarts bei Hacienda Caraballi fahren Im Casino eines nahegelegenen Resort-Hotels können Sie Tagesausflüge nach Old San Juan, Ponce, Arecibo oder zu den Camuy Caves unternehmen.

*** Aufgrund der Hurrikane Irma und Maria stehen den Gästen der Kinderspielplatz und der Pool vorübergehend nicht zur Verfügung, während sie renoviert werden.

We spent six nights at this condo and enjoyed every second. The pictures are accurate and the view is incredible. The location is ideal! We did everything that we wanted to during the day and still had time to relax in the evenings. Loved that it’s gated with staff present at all times. I felt very safe and never had a concern. Bonnie sells delicious cakes (with rum or without) down the hall and her dog, Pupido, is precious. Can’t wait to plan our next trip back. It’s an amazing place to enjoy with small children or just adults. Love, love, love!!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property was right on the beach — we could hear the waves from the balcony and walk straight onto the sand in seconds. Everything was clean, well-kept, and stocked with thoughtful touches like beach chairs and coolers, which made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better — close to great restaurants, kioskos, and just a short drive to El Yunque. The host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel completely at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The view from the balcony is stunning and the breeze that comes through with the balcony doors open is second to none. The condo was fitted with everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs and umbrellas. These came in handy as we ventured to various beaches including Icacos Island. Winnie was a great host and super responsive. The condo is super close to Loquillo, great beaches, and nice restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay and thank the owners for their hospitality.

Could not have asked for better location and stay. Even with 2 adults and 4 kids, never felt crowded. Two window AC units in bedrooms would cool the whole place on the days we wanted to escape the heat. 2 bathrooms are a must with everyone scrambling for showers, and the washer and dryer were used way more than anticipated. Everything needed for beach was there...chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers. Bring snorkels...there is a shallow snorkeling location to the left of the condo when facing the ocean. Stopped for walmart grocery pickup on the way from airport. Had all our breakfasts and a few lunches on the patio. Our favorite places to eat (even with picky kids) were Consorte Cuban Cuisine, Pasta y Pueblo, Sonny's Pinchos on the public beach and pretty much any of the kioskos. We parked in free parking behind the kioskos and spent a day half way between kioskos and public beach. Plenty to do within 20-40 min drive. So grateful for neighbor, Bonnie, for coming to the rescue with a toothfairy 2 bill when my son lost his tooth!

Great Luquillo Getaway

The property was just as the pictures showed. Extremely clean, beautiful view of the beach and ocean with an overall amazing location. We enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the beach and just talking as a family. The AC worked extremely well, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and clean. It was nice being able to walk to the grocery store or restaurants. Would highly recommend this property. I would suggest getting a rental car instead of relying on Uber.

Wonderful Views & Breezes

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with another couple. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The condo was clean and the property manager Winnie was readily available to address any concerns. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked very well in both bedrooms. The views were amazing and the breeze that flowed through the condo when the windows were open was awesome. Mosquitoes were not a problem. We found a great snorkeling spot a ways down the beach to the left, thanks to Bonnie, the “Rum Cake Lady” who lived a few doors down from the condo. She told us where to find excellent snorkeling and sold us some of her delicious, homemade rum cakes. Her Goldendoodle, Pudpeto (I’m probably spelling that all wrong), greeted us and even gave hugs, every time he saw us :) We highly recommend and would stay here again.

This apartment is as described with an amazing view of the beach just behind the building. It has everything you will need for your stay. You will feel like home!! The owner is prompt to respond via texts and emails if you have questions besides her excellent availability, she has a binder with details and suggested areas for your needs and enjoyment. It is cleaned , organized and very welcoming. I highly recommend staying at this place and will definitely stay again if it’s available.

This was HEAVEN.

This place is just amazing! The home is lovely with cute furnishings and all new appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms are also very modern and clean! Washer and dryer were so handy, too. The balcony was the best part as I sat out there and just listened to the waves both morning and night. I could hear the waves crashing when I was falling asleep, that’s how close you are to the ocean. The neighbors were so friendly and you are close to everything - restaurants and even a neighborhood Walmart. The property is clean and the pool is nice, too. I found the home so easily and check in was so simple, too. I didn’t need to reach out to management during my stay but I know that wouldn’t have been an issue if I needed to. I would stay here again and again, and if I get the chance next year to come back, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thanks so much for letting me stay in your home and giving me an amazing, relaxing experience.

Nice accommodations

The apartment is within walking distance to many delicious restaurants and a nice calm beach is 1/2 mile drive. Home is stocked with spices, laundry detergent and beach gear. The neighbor down the hall makes delicious rum cakes and has the sweetest pup, Pupido who will great you when you come home. Overall nice comfortable stay. Thank you!

Excellent property and great location

My husband and I had a terrific stay at this beach property. The view is absolutely incredible. You will get a divine ocean breeze in every room and the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep each night. Being on a high floor, there were virtually zero bugs up that high - I saw maybe one mosquito. Property was very clean and comfortable. Wifi was fast. Nice appliances in the kitchen though we didn't do much cooking haha! Many great restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store and pharmacy across the main road. You can go from the apartment to the beach in about 3 minutes. Property includes 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, some coolers and some floaties. If you get tired of the beach, the pool is huge and very clean. We plan on coming back next year!

Beach vacation

This is a beautiful, well maintained condo within steps of a lovely beach. There are several restaurants and a great convenience store within an 1/2 mile walk. The owner and property manager are attentive and very kind.

Owner thought of everything

We enjoyed our stay - the owner thought of everything, from placements to beach chairs to well thought-out comments and guides! Super clean and tasteful decor. The only problems we had was loud construction above our unit in early mornings but we were given a partial refund, so that would a nice gesture for the disturbance.
