The Rivera is in a working class neighborhood close to the airport. It is reasonably priced and the staff were very hospitable. There are shops and a pub nearby.

Not sure id recommend for single travellers it's on a back street - near a busy bar. i turned the fan on to drown out the street noise. Lots of men hanging around. But you get what you pay for. clean comfortable bed. Basic apartment but fine for just a sleep over

Very close to the airport, but we stayed only for one night because we had a late flight in. We wouldn’t stay here for the whole duration of our trip - but it got the job done for a night to sleep.

I like this place because it was so close to the airport and not real expensive. We only stayed one night so we could catch our plane early in the morning. At first I wasn’t sure how safe the area was when we first pulled up but once we stayed for a little while and watched the people walking around the streets we realized it was very safe. Perfect for what we needed

Horrible service! We booked room a month ahead of time and when we got there 12 am they had no room available for us. After 3 hours of bugging and calling them they finally gave us a room at another hotel that was very low budget. Dirty! Towels smelled horrible! There wasn’t any toilet better. The area was sooo bad. Overall horrible experience!

Gut: Sauberkeit

Terrible check in experience. I arrived late, just wants to sleep after a long day of travel. The bar next door has super loud terrible karaoke, the place was dark, they didn’t have my booking accounted for, it took them over 40 minutes to figure out what to do, they called some guy on the phone who spoke to me in a bad tone, and then they paid for an uber to move me to another location over 5 minutes away (at almost 1am) when the main reason I booked this place is because it was right in front of my car rental place. The next location was weird , and the room was right above a noisy road with traffic all through the night, didn’t sleep well. You get what you pay for, my mistake for choosing one of the cheapest options and expecting something decent. The other reviews here were misleading compared to my experience.

Do not pay in advance.

There was no water. Claim a broken watermain is the problem, but disappointed to find this after we check in and try use the toilet! The bathroom is very small, less than 4 feet wide and the toilet is too close to the shower. The room was clean, but getting to the room was treacherous. Uneven riser heights on the steps and very narrow passages.
Very narrow bathroom
Less than a foot between the toilet and wall
Anyone walking up the stairs outside can see into the bathroom.
Stairway is barely 2 feet wide

I booked and paid for a room 2 months in advance. Their listing says rooms are not guaranteed unless paid in advance. I received a message about 18 hours before check in time that they were overbooked and were moving me to a different location. I said this was unacceptable as the new location was far from where I needed to be and was not in a good neighbourhood. They said they were sorry about this and that they were having problems with Expedia and the overbooking was Expedia’s fault not theirs. told them I would be cancelling my reservation and that there would be no problems as long as there was a refund. Then total since. Expedia is also getting total silence from them.
