„Be aware of this listing and property! it is not accurate at all. We booked a room and got a totally one, not to mention it wasn’t even the same location ! Listing pictures look like AI versus reality! Secondly there is spiders inside crawling which we had to kill ( big spiders ). Also waken up by construction on the property that started at 7am . Unacceptable! Beware.“

After we were already in Guatemala, and were trying to figure out where we were headed next, we noticed that the address said Santa Cruz. However, after some trouble, we realized that the house was in Tzunana. Right off the bat, this felt mis-leading. „Good points: -The house seems to be a relatively new construction . -The second floor room has a decent view to watch the sunrise. But the house is not in the lake. -The kitchen was well equipped. Regular points : -Lots of Construction around that starts at 6:45AM - From the main road to the house is dirt and rocks so You have to carry your suitcases. -Far from the embarcadero or main are in town, a good 30 minutes walk or 10 minute Tuck Tuck that cost Q10/ $2 US quetzales per person ...
