Great place. Great location. Great experience.

We really enjoyed the house and all of the amenities. Everything was extremely organized from the codes, manuals and communication during the week with questions. We loved the patio and all of the beach toys in the garage. The parking space was perfect and easy to access. We really liked the quiet neighborhood but that we could walk to the beach on the bay or drive quickly over to Pacific Beach. We'll definitely be back.

Great spot away from the craziness

We normally stay right on the boardwalk of mission beach. This spot was nice change of pace with a more quiet vibe yet still super close to the bay to hang out at the beach. The price was also great considering you get all 3 floors of the unit including the rooftop and garage parking.

Amazing Location and Patio

The property was as advertised, and had a couple fun surprises. The patio/BBQ area is great for cooking and eating. The accessibility to the bay is unmatched. There was no riff raff around the property. Our truck did not fit in the garage.

Beautiful spacious accommodations

We have only positives about our weeklong stay at this property. The home is spacious and lovely. The location near Sail Bay and Fanuel Park was perfect for us. Everything is within walking distance, including the ocean boardwalk. The home is very well-organized and well-stocked....there is everything you could need to stay there, and things are easy to find. There is quite a bit of street noise from Pacific Beach Drive in the second bedroom, but we slept with the windows closed and the air conditioner running, and that managed it pretty well. Our son also had a white noise app that solved the issue. The folks at Coastal Vacation Homes were truly extraordinary. Any questions that we had were answered within five minutes, and they were always very courteous and helpful. The level of customer service was 11/10 and made our stay there so easy. We will definitely go back to this property again, and we highly recommend working with Coastal Vacation Homes.

Great place! Awesome location!

Staying here was a “breeze”! You can’t beat the location and we loved that it was pet friendly. The garage fit our SUV and had all the beach go-ers needs. Easy to get a hold of the property managers with any questions or concerns. So many private sitting areas - the rooftop, side patios and main patio were so nice! Being able to walk to the beach in seconds and having all the restaurants and shopping also was a PLUS! House was clean and well equipped! Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Outdoor Spaces

I stayed here with a friend for a girl's weekend in PB. Excellent location close to the beach and little shops. The view was amazing from the rooftop on the 3rd floor. One issue is that it would be difficult for 2 couples to stay as the 2nd bedroom has a queen and trim bunk bed arrangement. Other than that, it was perfect for 2 friends to each have own bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. 10/10

Prime location, clean and great space

We had a great stay in San Diego at this VRBO. The place was so close to the water and a quick 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants on Pacific Beach. Also loved that there were bikes and paddle boards. The place was very clean and also had great outside space. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because we were given the incorrect code for the garage for check in and also the rules for sound at the property were VERY strict. It seemed almost a little overkill the amount of rules there were for noise. Otherwise everything was great!

Good location

The condo was in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The air conditioner was extremely loud and when on we could not hear the TV. The thermostat was difficult to control. I think it was supposed to be automatic with pre programed times but that was not comfortable for us.

A+ Location with B grade property

If you’re looking for a place that’s super clutch on location- this is likely it. It’s just a block to the beach, which was relaxed on off days and bumping on the “beach holidays,” and we could easily drive around the other other beach allocations, all within about 15 min. However, if you’re looking for A+ amenities to go with that A+ location, this may not be it. Master bed was lumpy and super hot as the only AC vent in the room was... squarely under the bed! Attention to detail in upkeep and cleaning wasn’t there: broken dryer vent, no batteries in the battery-powered garbage can, blender wasn’t wiped down, bugs in the shower, and the freezer looked like it had thawed and refrozen once or twice, judging from the ice tray. Communication with the property management was excellent, however, even at off hours, so overall, still an enjoyable experience.

This was a very nice property. It is very close to the bay and a playground, but a longer walk (10-20 minutes) if you want to be close to the ocean, stores and restaurants. We chose it because it is only about 2 blocks from our son, daughter-in-law and new grandchild. It's a nice, quiet and walkable neighborhood. We had plenty of room for our California family to visit.

This house is great - in a relatively quiet spot but close enough to the PB activities. The patio is really nice as well for a bbq. The only negative was the constant reminders not to have a party or make any noise - kind of puts a damper on things if you want to enjoy the patio with friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This is a very nice condo with all of the amenities. We were able to enjoy the fire pit one night and the outdoor grilling area is also amazing. Close to grocery store, beach, shopping, etc. It has it all. Would stay again in a heart beat!

BEST Rental in Mission/Pacific Beach Area!!

I almost hesitate writing this review, because I'd like to keep this place a hidden gem so it won't become in-demand and hard to reserve again in the future. ;) But they absolutely deserves a massive 5-star rating!! We have rented homes & condos all over the coast - from Ocean Beach at the south all the way up to Oceanside, and just about everywhere in between - and this place was by FAR the best place we have ever rented. Everything was absolutely perfect in every way! LOCATION: Perfect! Far enough away from the hustle & bustle of busy Mission/Pacific Beach area to be calm & quiet, but close enough to be right there in the middle of it within minutes of walking or driving. And it's only a few hundred feet to the beach directly down the street in front of the house. THE HOUSE: Everything in the entire place looked brand new. Very nice furniture, TV's, every kitchen gadget you can think of, awesome back patio and rooftop deck. One nice surprise was TWO showers in the master, which made it so both my wife & I could get ready at the same time! And the crown jewel of it all is the gorgeous palapa on the back patio!! We spent pretty much every night out there grilling and enjoying the fireplace on the patio.Very, very, nice place. AMENITIES: You will RARELY find a place for rent in this area with a garage, let alone a large underground 2-car garage!! This makes it so you never need to worry about finding parking, or having someone steal your "reserved" spots. They also provided 4 bikes, 2 paddleboards, 4 beach chairs, beach towels, basically everything you need for some fun in the sun!! I went paddleboarding for several hours around Mission Bay and it was one of the most relaxing things I've ever done, and the beach is close enough that you can just carry it a few hundred feet down to the beach and hop on it and off you go! No waves to worry about or wakes from boats to knock you over, unless you get really far out there. SERVICE: We did run into a few minor issues while we were there (couple of burnt out light bulbs, clogged shower drain), and they were dealt with promptly and without no inconvenience to us at all. All texts and emails were answered promptly and efficiently. BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for a nice, calm, peaceful place to spend some time in the MB/PB area, look no further. We will always look to rent this place first when we're back in the area, hope it'll be available!!
