"My recent experience at DoubleTree by Hilton in San Diego was incredibly disappointing, largely due to the management. I booked online with Expedia a King Jr Suite which was advertised as King Executive Suite online. The pictures online showed 2 rooms with 2 separate beds but they gave me a room with one king bed. In the pictures online it showed 2 rooms with 2 beds, in person it was only one room with one bed. When we mentioned to David one of the customer service reps at the front disk he apologized and said that he will talk to the management and that it’s false advertising on their end. He said he will talk to front desk manager in the morning and he will gave us a room with a door in between. In the morning when I went downstairs and checked with the front desk manager Sam Cr…., he was dismissive and rushed through our conversation, leaving me feeling unheard and unsatisfied. After we went out for the day and returned I went back to the front desk to check with the hope thinking that Sam must have either changed our room or got us a King Executive. I was more disappointed to see how the lady on April 26th treated me. She was ok at first but as soon as she got in touch with Sam their manager she told us that there is nothing that they can and would do for us. She was extremely rude and had very poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not even give them a one star. I am very unsatisfied and unhappy. Will not book at this place again.
