Charmante Blockhütte auf Öko-Bauernhof nahe Taos Ski Valley
Named for Frieda Lawrence, wife of celebrated writer D.H. Lawrence and a friend of the original homesteader, this charming historic cabin holds a special connection to the area’s literary past. Frieda was a frequent visitor to the San Cristobal Trading Post, where letters she wrote to her husband’s publishers were later discovered in the attic.
Originally built in the early 1900s as lodging for sheepherders, this intimate 325 sq ft studio occupies one half of a rustic duplex. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable queen bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
A small porch overlooking the flower garden is the perfect place for slow mornings, coffee, and birdsong. With views toward the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the cabin is just steps from the historic barn, two shared hot tubs, and an infrared sauna.
Nestled on 40 acres in the beautiful San Cristobal Valley, at the edge of the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness, Taos Goji is an organic goji berry farm and eco-lodge where history, nature, and the simple pleasures of farm life come together.
Wander through the old apple orchard, explore the gardens, relax in a hammock, or spend time with our friendly farm animals. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared hot tubs and saunas, outdoor grill, playground, and spacious open-air barn, a favorite gathering place for sunset dinners beneath the wide New Mexico sky.
Seasonal vegetables and fresh farm eggs are available when the farm is producing.
Surrounded by mountains, open skies, and extraordinary natural beauty, the farm feels wonderfully removed from the everyday, yet the town of Taos is just a 15 minute scenic drive away. Taos Ski Valley and Red River are both approximately 20 miles from the property, offering easy access to skiing, hiking, and year-round outdoor adventures.
Good to know: Life here moves at a slower pace. Nights are intentionally quiet and beautifully dark, making for exceptional stargazing. Cell service is limited in the valley, and Wi-Fi may occasionally be interrupted during storms. The fire pit may only be used with prior management approval.
