The Space:
The beautiful condo has a beachy feel with all the amenities of home: quality mattresses, linens and pillows, a fully outfitted kitchen, large-screen TVs, Central Air Conditioning, music speakers, plenty of towels, and private washer/dryer.

This unit is ground floor with one unit above but the whole ceiling has been sound-proofed so you can hear very little noise from above.

Come stay close to it all! The address is 253 Avenida Del Mar - look it up on a map and see its an easy walk to everything.

Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to the condo, as well as private access to the yard, fire pit, and hot tub. One dedicated parking spot is available in the driveway, and there is ample free overnight parking on the cross street (Seville) and around the library and community center. We also provide a map indicating safe parking areas.

The Neighborhood:
Avenida Del Mar is the crown jewel of San Clemente. We have at least ten exceptional restaurants in the area. Check Yelp for recommendations such as Nick's, South of Nick's, Vine, Beachfire, El Ranchero, The Cellar, and more. The farmer's market takes place every Sunday just across the street from the condo, making it perfect for stocking up for the week.

There’s an amazing coffee shop called Bear Coast Coffee located just down the hill at the pier, along with a lovely beach walking trail—a perfect way to start the day. Additionally, we have a park right across the street for kids to play. Our location is truly special!

Getting Around:
Our rental is conveniently located within walking distance of almost everything you might need. We provide bikes for your use, and there is also a free trolley that stops right in front of the condo. Additionally, a train station at our pier makes it easy to enjoy day trips to San Diego. We’re about a 45-minute drive to Disneyland, 25 minutes to Legoland, and an hour from both San Diego and Los Angeles.

As part of your rental, we offer adult bikes and 20-inch kids' bikes at no extra charge. Please remember to sign the waiver to receive the code needed to unlock the bikes for use.

Other Things to Note:
The backyard is private; however, please be aware that our other vacation rental unit has a balcony above. Occasionally, you may hear guests enjoying their time on that balcony. We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and fellow guests by observing quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.

We allow up to three pets with prior approval. Most breeds are welcome as long as they are quiet and well-trained. The pet fee is $20 per night, per pet. There is a grassy park across the street from the condo, and San Clemente is pet-friendly!

For pet owners, there is a nearby park for dog walking, and San Clemente features a pet-friendly beach trail as well as many pet-friendly restaurants.

Please note that we have security cameras located in common areas only (such as parking lots and outside stairways). There are no cameras or listening devices inside our rental condos.

Interaction with Guests:
I’m here to assist you during your stay, and our level of interaction is entirely up to you. I’m just a phone call or text message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

I traveled to San Clemente with 3 friends to play pickleball, and it was the perfect location. We walked to the beach, coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. We come to San Clemente multiple times per year to visit our daughter and her family but this visit we were also brining my father-in-law and daughter-in-law and needed quite a bit more room. This condo was perfect! Clean and spacious with a spot-on location, and the hosts were very attentive and available for any questions. And they left wine! Highly recommend. And if we ever need a larger space to visit we will definitely be back here again.

This condo is a San Clemente gem. It’s a great location, park your car and walk for your entire stay. It’s a short, although somewhat hilly, walk to the beach. And a very short walk to the local restaurants and shopping. The hosts of the condo are so fantastic! This was the most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at and she is very responsive if you need anything. Our stay was the perfect back to school girls trip.

Loved this location. The hosts are super thoughtful and seem to have thought of everything. They make it so easy and enjoyable not just to have a great stay, you also have a great time. They provide lots of helpful information about the area, things to do, places to eat, helpful info about the property including a dedicated website replete with everything you need to know and more. There are also complimentary bicycles, surf boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, drinks and so much more. They understand hospitality and it is a pleasure to both work with them and enjoy their fabulous property. It's not just a rental, it's an experience.

Even in the rain, we enjoyed our stay… close walk to pretty much everything. Home was immaculate, complete with bikes and a bottle of wine. I watched the chiefs game from the jacuzzi, and walked right out into to a farmers market. Surf was firing, and sushi nearby was on point. Enjoy.

This place was perfect for us! We rented a few houses for family and friends for our daughter’s wedding. We had a bridal shower here, we got ready for the wedding here, and this house was the gathering place for dinners. The pictures and the description do not do it justice. The back yard was so spacious and fit us all perfectly. The fire pit was really nice on the cooler evenings. The bikes and beach gear were a great plus! The location is perfect! And any question we had, the owners were so quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again! It was a great place to stay! This place definitely earned its 5 star review!

Casa del Mar is the perfect place to stay if you appreciate quality, convenience, and personal attention. Cathy and Pete (hosts) were prompt and responsive in communication and personalized our experience. The amenities of Casa del Mar are top notch: comfortable beds, quality bed linens, towels, and kitchenware (pots/pans, dishes, glasses), rugs (love the rug pad in the living room!), etc. Convenient TVs throughout the home, hot tub, fire pit (love) and standing heater! Loved having access to the beach chairs (gonna get some of these for our home), boogie boards, and beach towels. Super close to beach and quaint downtown. I only wish we extended our stay one-more day to make use of the bikes!! Will definitely be back.

This property is amazing! It was clean and comfortable. They provided all the essentials....Yes! There was toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, etc. They even have a few drinks in the fridge when you arrive...and a complimentary bottle of wine. (LOL-we were too tired every evening to enjoy it...we quickly crashed in our very comfortable beds). Two weeks later, and I am still thinking about our amazing stay. You would never need to drive anywhere when you stay here, Restaurants within walking distance and the beach down the hill. It was also very peaceful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. No hidden surprises here. This is a quality property. The owner was always available via text for the two small questions we had. THANK YOU!

We had a great time celebrating Xmas with our family at Pete & Cathy's place. They made is extra special by providing a tree and Cathy showed up with trendy cookies on Xmas eve. Communication was great. The location was awesome, close to shops and restaurants with an easy walk to the pier and beach. We had the best time!
