„Room was good, clean and quiet. Could not get the wifi to work. Did not report it while there.“

„Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. „I paid on arrival at 5:10pm, to be then asked for my card details in full that made me feel uncomfortable so l froze my bank card. So glad l did as the young girl tried to charge me again 4 times from 9pm up until 9:30pm, she clearly gave up and although the Manager Islam was helpful l am yet to receive assurance via email that their error won’t be duplicated. I would avoid if l am honest“

„It is being refurbished., so a few problems. Room was clean, towels spotless.plenty of parking spaces. Staff including cleaner's couldn't do enough for us, they were excellent. We have stayed there before and will again.“

„This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!“

„the person on reception was very unhelpful-I asked for the number for room service and when I went up to my room I found there was no telephone so how I am I meant to contact reception?? Turned out the lift was not working and my room was on the third floor; had to carry the luggage up to my room myself. „We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. „Absolutely horrendous experience with a "host" who was completely unreasonable and unfair, that ruined our weekend and left us with a loss of money (and extra unofficial charges through PayPal) and no where to stay. Never again and would advise starting well clear. “

„My second stay here. A really good place to stay with a great Italian restaurant attached. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free parking too. A nice pub down the road selling a great pint of ale. Dartmouth Park is close by and lovely to walk around. Bus and tram stop about 20 mins walk away to easy access in to Birmingham or Wolverhampton and they run late so you can have a nice night out and get back to hotel without a worry. “
