The Anchorage - Your Home Away From Home In Idyllic Staithes

The Anchorage is a lovely 5 bedroom Grade II listed property situated in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Staithes popular with artists, walkers and families alike!

The Anchorage is just a short stroll to the beach and provides easy access to the many attractions found within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

The house entices you in with stain glass entrance porch leading to a spacious hall with plenty of hooks for coats and boots.

From the hall you can head into the large beamed kitchen to enjoy meals and catch up around the big kitchen table. The kitchen offers all modern appliances including fridge, freezer, drinks fridge, range oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee percolator.

The lovely lounge showcases beamed ceilings and a log burning stove and TV, DVD player, selection of DVDs and plenty of games to keep children entertained.

Head up to the first floor where you will find two double rooms and a cute children’s bunk bed room and a shower room.

Head up to the second floor to a further bathroom, two double bedrooms and our peaceful reading nook which is bathed in a lovely natural light and looks out to the lifeguard station and the Beck.

Outside The Anchorage is a bench and we also have additional chairs and a small table for drinks (all hung on hooks in the hall) that you can take in/out to use at the front too.

Handily being next to The George pub they will happily serve you a nice cold pint or glass of something lovely at ‘The Anchorage table’ while you sit and catch up or just enjoy the people watching opportunities!
