It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. "We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"Although the property is tired looking it has everything you need ( apart from a hair dryer or Iron) , the bed was very comfortable and the room a decent size. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the continental breakfast of which there was plenty. The staff are lovely and with the help of google translate we got by. Don’t rely on here for lunch or dinner as there is no restaurant as we know it, only a breakfast room and lounge but we ate across the road in a neighbouring hotel. We would stay here...
