„We had a wonderful stay at Wellingtons. The apartment was perfect for our family - spacious and beautifully furnished but also very practical for a young family. The pool was super clean and warm - the children loved it. We enjoyed the walk into town - Salcombe is a great location with plenty of food options. „Beautiful and very spacious apartment, just in front of the beach, with great views and a lovely terrace. Everything was perfect. The owners had even welcomed us with brownies and scones/jam/cream - very thoughtful. The property is an a beautiful place, just across the beach, 10 min away from Salcombe either by car or by boat. We preferred South Sands to Salcombe itself. Lovely coastal walks nearby as well.“

„Perfect location right by the beach. And very convenient for the restaurant and bar on the ground floor. The apartment is very well equipped indeed and essentially brand new. The parking space right outside is a real plus, but the locking bollard is broken. That’s the only negative.“

„We have stayed at this property before. The fact that we came back says something! The stunning view remains the same, but the replacement of dining chairs, as shown in the picture at the top of this review, with benches we found less convenient. The pictured bottle of wine was absent! A few minor bits of maintenance are required, but overall it is very comfortable with good facilities. We would be happy to revisit.“

„We loved the views and easy walk down to South Sands beach. We built several castles with moats etc, helped by the stream. It's nice to be able to park the car and not use it again during the week, as we could use the South Sands ferry, or walk, into Salcombe town. The coast path is also lovely and easy to get to.“

„Great sea views, sunny large terrace - enjoyed our coffees there! Kids enjoyed board games and tried sketching the harbour. Rooms were tastefully decorated, kitchen well equipped. „Great stay in North Sands with Salcombe Abode. A fab apartment in a great setting, light and sunny and very well equipped. Coffee machine (coffee pods provided) dishwasher,( tablets provided) even a backpack, a little thing but so useful. Had originally booked for 4 days but it was so wonderful we extended our stay. „Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…“

"Wir haben als Familie eine Woche Anfang August hier verbracht. Der Wohnbereich ist geräumig, die Schlafzimmer sind recht klein. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Alles ist gut in Schuss und funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Putzfrau hatte vor unserer Ankunft wohl leider einen schlechten Tag gehabt, aber das war nicht weiter schlimm. Eine Flasche Wein stand zur Begrüßung bereit - vielen Dank dafür. Die Lage ist sehr schön, man kann tolle Wanderungen und Ausflüge machen.Leider war das Wetter selbst für die Engländer, die wir trafen ziemlich schlecht."
