„The facility was nice. Everything else was disappointing. In these high temperatures, not having a refrigerator is embarrassing. Every other hotel I've stayed in has had a refrigerator. A microwave would also be nice. Breakfast is not offered. Coffee in the lobby is ridiculous because it's a long walk away. The pool is also far from the room. And last but not least, I was woken up by a leaf blower right outside my room door at 7a.m.. That's very disrespectful to the guest. Lots of insects ...

„We were staying here while we did the walk-throughs for our new build home in the area. The staff was great and very helpful, and the location was just right. The pool was nice and my kids had a great time there. My only complaint would be that the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. So much so, that we ended up staying somewhere else for our final night of the trip due to it. If they changed their pillows and added pillow top covers to the mattresses, I wouldn’t have any complaints. “

The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again. “
