"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "

"I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....

The villa does require some updating as some of fixings and fittings are starting to look tired and at this price point I would have expected air conditioning and more space. "We hadden een leuke vakantie. Het huisje ziet eruit zoals op de foto's: prachtig zwembad en een goed uitgeruste keuken. Het meubilair is wel wat verouderd. Maar wel een goede prijs- kwaliteit verhouding. Communicatie met de eigenaar verliep zeer vlot en we werden ter plaatse goed ontvangen door zijn ouders. "My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living.
