„Beautiful hotel with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful with all of our tourist questions. They even helped arrange transportation for places in our itinerary. In all of our travels in India, this was the only hotel that had a contract laundry service with washer and dryer, so our clothes were promised to be washed, dried and ironed within a day“

„Water heated only 7-10, but even then we had a problems with hot water and pressure. Called many times to have hot water and needed to escalate to have someone to look at. Even then water was warm but really cold. Terrible condition of shower (tap, glass door and knob wasn’t working properly and there was mould). Limited food option mainly Indian. Pool area bor very inviting. “

„Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. “

„The hotel was amazing. The service, the welcome, the staff were all very excellent. We loved our room with the beautiful views, it was nice and spacious. The breakfast was varied , lots of choices and we also enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant. „The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. “

Hotels.com confirmed our stay, we paid for the accommodation, but when we arrived in the hotel, the reception said that there is NO RESERVATION in our name as they DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT with Hotels.com and that they are fully booked. We had to find another accommodation, while money was paid to Hotels.com for no reservation service at all.“
