„Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect“

„We stayed in the Old Bank House for our son’s wedding weekend. It was fabulous, a cottage with character but with all modern facilities and wonderful accommodation and garden. Located in Beaulieu , a short walk to the pub that serves great food. Communication with the owner was excellent too. A bottle of Prosecco and a carrot cake waiting for us on arrival was the icing of the cake!“

„Das Mietobjekt ist schon etwas in die Tage gekommen, aber wir fühlten uns dennoch wohl. Die gute Ausstattung und die tolle Umgebung haben das mehr als ausgeglichen. „Sea Cottage is an attractive, well appointed two bedroomed cottage conveniently situated in Lymington. The road is quiet wirh plenty of parking. The house is small but is well appointed and equipped. The stairs are steep but there is support from two handrails, one wooden, one rope. It has a patio area to the rear, which could be improved by newer furniture, a tidy up and some weeding.“

„The property was first class, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The location was ideal for us and we used it as a base for trips to hurst castle, IOW etc. We had a small issue with the heating which Emma was able to resolve almost immediately without any fuss. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the new forest!“

„I scored 4 not 5 as when we pulled up outside the first impression looked as though it may be slightly run down. Once inside though it was all good, light and clean and had everything we needed. The outside space is lovely but could do with some maintenance and there wasn’t enough comfortable seating for us all to sit outside easily. „We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it.“

„Stayed with my young family, sister and mum in this extremely well equiped lodge which was situated on a very quiet part of Shorefield holiday park. The lodge was amazing value for money and contained everything needed for a relaxing break. We have stayed at Shorefield before and its a great location with indoor/outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, arcades etc. Amazing break and we will be renting this lodge again!“

"Das Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour ist ein typisches Beispiel für das Auseinanderklaffen von Schein und Sein. Während die Bilder einen gepflegten und ansprechenden Eindruck vermitteln, für den man dann letztendlich bereit ist, den doch recht stolzen Zimmerpreis zu bezahlen, holt einen sofort bei Ankunft die Realität ein. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, die modernisierten Zimmer selbst ansprechend und das Bett gut. Die Sauberkeit ist hier in Ordnung. Im Bad sieht es anders aus: dort wurde schon lange nichts mehr erneuert, Flecken und abgenutzte Oberflächen überall, den Temperaturregler der Dusche hat man nach einmal Drehen in der Hand, am altmodischen Handtuchwärmer neben dem Toilettensitz verbrennt man sich, die Badezimmertür stammt aus dem Eröffnungsjahr des Hotels und sieht dementsprechend aus. Die öffentlichen Bereiche des Hotels wurden wohl noch nie modernisiert. Alles sieht aus wie in den 80er Jahren und weist deutliche Gebrauchsspuren auf, die Teppiche sind fleckig und verdreckt, in der Lobby stehen abgewetzte Sitzmöbel mit riesigen Flecken. Hier müsste dringend investiert werden. Am schlimmsten jedoch ist der Spabereich. Dieser ist ziemlich heruntergekommen, viele Einrichtungsgegenstände weisen deutliche Gebrauchsspuren auf oder sind kaputt, der gesamte Bereich wirkt unhygienisch und unsauber, im Wasser fühlt man sich unwohl. Frühstück war nicht inbegriffen, deshalb keine Bewertung. Fazit: überteuert und keinen zweiten Besuch wert."
