Experience the simplicity of nature with a stay in our rustic cabin, located in the historic upper canyon along the Rio Ruidoso. Fortunately, this area has been unaffected by recent fires and flooding, and the cabin's elevated position ensures safety during heavy rains.

Step outside to enjoy the sounds of the river, perfect for casual walks or fishing. The flowing water creates a relaxing atmosphere, making it a great getaway for nature lovers.

One of the cabin’s highlights is the private deck and gazebo by the river, where you can relax and take in the views.

Inside, the cabin has a wood-burning stove that adds warmth, ideal for cozy evenings after a day of skiing on nearby slopes. A full kitchen with a retro stove is ready for your meal preparation, and you can enjoy your dishes in the comfortable dining area.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from midtown, you can explore local shops and dining options.

While you may encounter the occasional cobweb or insect, we regularly bug bomb the cabins and attend to cobwebs as they form. Some guests may not be fully prepared for the cabin-in-the-woods experience, so just be aware of the natural setting.

Pet friendly - $50 per stay, please select pets when booking, please note we do not accommodate loud or aggressive animals. Standard rental agreement to be signed upon booking

Please note: this cabin has low ceilings and guests over 6'5" may find they have to crouch a bit in order to pass through doorways.

You will notice a 1 star review regarding plumbing issues. Unfortunately, a pump went outside of the cabin and was beyond our control. We have since had it professionally replaced and is now working well. We strive to provide exceptional stays and despite moving this guest to another larger cabin they still felt a 1 star review was warranted.
