„Very enjoyable experience! Of course, there was the mild inconvenience of having to hike a short distance to the bathroom facilities. Also, it would be helpful to provide guests with easy-to-read instructions (perhaps a hard copy print inside yurt) on how to operate the fire pit. Otherwise, highly recommended.“

„Lovely history hotel. However the very small room (no where to sit except the very high bed and the toilet was less than ideal. So too was the fact that the 2nd floor room window view was of the very large physical plant for the air conditioning, The view was a minor issues it was the loud hum of the machinery that was problematic.“

„Our room smelled of feet and there was a large toenail clipping on the floor when we arrived. I don't think that the room had been vacuumed, though the bed was made. There was no fan in the bathroom, which was really hot compared to the room itself. The whole building seemed old and worn down. The pillows were small and flat, but the bed was comfortable. „Room was dirty, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom. Room floors needed to be swept and mopped. Had to ask staff to come sweep and mop. Even after they said they did the dead bugs were still in the corner. Bathtub was gross and dirty. No extra toilet paper, one washcloth for two people. Microwave door was broken. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve stayed in places for less with way better service and way cleaner.“

„Very clean well done cottages. We’ve stayed there 3 times. The location is very lovely. Our only minor complaint was we were asked mot particularly politely to wash the dishes and put out the trash. There were very few dishes so it was not a big deal. It just made our visit not quite as nice.“
