„We stayed for 5 nights. We moved from a standard room at the front corner of the hotel as it was noisy and claustrophobic. The en suite having been built into the corner of the room , so all the other stuff ie chairs table wardrobe were squeezed in. The poolside suite which we were kindly moved to was new, spacious had air con and walk in shower ,……. stunning altogether! Such a difference ! Could not fault it !!! „Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.“

„The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. The pool is NOT 24 hrs as advertised and you have to pay. The property can be a bit difficult to find because the name plaque of the plot is covered by an overgrown hydrangea. If you use what 3 ...

„High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future.“
