„Property was very clean. The mule rentals at first seemed little expensive but over the 2 nights we stayed the kids had a blast riding around the property on them and seeing all the different types of animals, so definitely worth it. Wouldn’t even been the same without them. Plenty of accessories to use inside the house, very good sized rooms and comfortable beds. We’re already making plans to go back again before school starts back up. Definitely recommend. Very peaceful and quiet and ...

„Almost everything about this property was great. The house is clean and well equipped in a historic area. The a/c and heat worked well. The location is very walkable to nearby downtown Smithville. Two issues: the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are a bit of a challenge. They're narrow and spaced closely. Just be careful! The double bed in one of the bedrooms upstairs needs replacement. It is terribly squeaky. The couple that slept on it did not have a good night's sleep. “

„This home is very nice and accommodating in a quiet neighborhood. The house is very new with nicely sized rooms and everything necessary for a relaxing stay. The hosts have thought of everything! There are extra towels, toiletries, pet supplies, etc. Both the front and back porches and living spaces are accommodating and welcoming The hosts quickly responded to all requests in a timely manner and were very polite. They even left a nice welcome gift. I will definitely look for this home again ...

„The River Nook was exactly what we were looking for to pass a long weekend. It was just right for two people and a small dog. It is so peaceful and right on the river, but also close enough to town to go shopping or out to eat. We spent two days fishing at the property's little pier and caught perch and one small bass. The nook was very clean and the sheets on the bed are the softest I've ever slept on We also met Andy and he is so friendly. I would definitely stay here again!“

„We stayed at this property for the Fourth of July ! Everything was listed as is ! The property is exceeded our expectations! We definitely will come back . The only bummer was that the hot tub was having issues so we couldn’t use it . 9/10 if you ask me :)“
