„I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! “

„My room was on the top floor with a private use bathroom across the corridor frommy room. It was a small shower room with toilet. The shower was OK, but not very powerful. I liked the amenities provided. Shower gel etc and a razor pack in the bathroom, coffee and hot chocolate in the bedroom. Wifi was excellent. If I have to put some small gripes, it would be there was nowhere to sit and work. So not ideal for a business stay. It was on the top floor which is quite a hike and there is no lift, ...

„The Link Hotel is conveniently located near Loughborough University (from which it also takes the free WiFi access). It is easily accessible through M1 and then a carriageway into town. „This was a business trip and I only chose this place due to the fact it was really close to where I was going the following morning... what a great surprise. Comfortable accommodation, sensible cost and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. This is not like your typical chain-hotels. Much more personal and friendly for sure and run by a family, so if you're staying in these parts of the country you should definitely support-local and get yourself in here. “

„Susan our host was warm and welcoming, the property was beautiful and our room was really nice. The breakfast was gorgeous! We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. Needless to say, we'll be making a stay at The Post House part of our annual tradition and we're looking forward to staying again next year!“

"Das Hotel hat dringend eine Renovation nötig. Das Zimmer war noch am besten in Schuss. Der Poolbereich war nicht so sauber bzw. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen (die Decke blätterte ab). Auch das Restaurant war renovationsbedürftig. Die Teller und das Besteck beim Morgenessen war nie ganz sauber. Zum übernachten ganz ok, aber definitiv nicht top. "

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
