„The gentleman on reception when we booked in was an excellent host and a good role model for the company. He took us to our room, explained things to us about the hotel, was there again in the evening when we ate and again with us at breakfast. Food was well proportioned and freshly cooked, hot and enjoyable along with value for money. Bedroom was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable all in all we had a most enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone. Hope to come again sometime. “

„The staff are very kind and welcoming, the roast dinner carvery and breakfast are 10/10. Very British, great quality service. Rooms are clean and tidy, pool and spa needs a little updating/fixing small wear&tear such as stairs to pool and pool flooring. Driving range is great fun, nice local woodland walk/park. Apart from very small maintenance issues, perfect stay. Will always return :) Relaxed and traditional atmosphere. “

„The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and spotless. Would definitely recommend “

„A last minute event meant the we needed somewhere to stay so we decided to treat ourselves to Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the White Lion. It was a bit busy when we arrived but the staff were welcoming though we only go directions to our room as the lad needed to get back to the bar. The room was lovely, generally well appointed. „This is an amazing place to stop , very clean , warm and everything you need to have a good stay , it was -3 when i stopped but was warm n snug , tesco and lidl at the end of the road. I will definitely be stopping again when im up this way “

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before. The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. „Stunning house in a lovely area! The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable each with a bathroom. Living spaces were a good size and nicely furnished. The communication before from Stef and Nikki was exceptional and we were provided with lots of info to make our stay more enjoyable. Hot tub overlooking the river was a nice touch.
