„Place is immaculate. Beds are comfortable, hotel like dispensers for all essential products. Great location close to the highway and Glastonbury Center. Owner is very responsive.“

„Great place to stay. Lots of room compared to a hotel room and it's nice to have the kitchen area. We used the bonus spaces a lot and found the building to be very quiet from room to room. The noise from outside at night was mostly car noise and seemed pretty standard for being in a central location. Thank you!“

„Absolutely perfect. We saw bald eagles, turtles, water snakes, fish jumping out of the water, birds catching their dinner, a comet and its’ following meteor shower, and so much more! The beach area is a slice of paradise. I never book the same vacation twice, but east Haddam showed my family so much beauty- both in nature and in people- and Ann’s perfectly outfitted home was exactly the escape from reality my soul needed. “

„Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring ...

„We had a nice stay, there was complimentary Netflix, the place felt private (though the road was loud at times), and the place was very clean, one might even say too clean (the floors were a bit slippery in the kitchen and hallways). Also the water in the kitchen sink had two settings: scalding hot (as it was running you could see the steam coming off it) or cold, hopefully thats fixed promptly so that it's not too hot to burn someone.“

With its 5 great size bedrooms ( privacy for everyone) . 3 full baths, with plenty of hot water, for the many showers after a day in the lake The 1/2 bath on first floor was a nice bonus to have with such a large crowd! The large, fully stocked kitchen, with its large island and even larger peninsula (plus a view of the lake) made preparing, cooking and serving meals most enjoyable! We appreciated the cleanliness of all rooms especially the kitchen and bathrooms ...

"Actually nicely located but unfortunately the building needs a total makeover. Old fashioned bathrooms, old carpets, horribly noisy fridge in the room and a toilet flush that was earsplitting loud. Staff not very flexible when arriving earlier and ask to park the car and not very communicative to tell you where the Downtown area is…. All in all acceptable for one night, but not longer!"
