It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. „My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. „Centrally located to Lake Superior! We were on the AuTrain river with easy/quick access to kayaking. Lake Superior was about 6 mins away with beautiful beaches, views, walks, fishing and adventures. Christmas and Munising were also very close. (15 mins or less) We enjoy renting a boat a touring Pictured Rocks as a family. We also visited Tahquamenon Falls. „Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Accessories include (that weren't listed on VRBO) coffee maker, TV, ceiling fans. It's great for younger and early middle aged people. I'm 72 and my wife is 65. We didn't know that there were large steps from where we could park the car to the cabin. Further, to use the fire pit, there were many more stairs down to that and the river.“

„This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing ...

"Die Zimmer waren groß und die Betten weich. Es war nicht weit bis zu verschiedenen gastronomischen Einrichtungen. Der "virtuelle" Check-In war für uns total schwer, da wir nicht so gut Englisch beherrschen. Wir mussten nämlich eine Telefonnummer anrufen, dort unsere Kreditkarten -Daten durchgeben - das geht eigentlich gar nicht!!! (obwohl wir diese bei der Buchung ja bereits hinterlegt hatten). Dann wurden uns die Zimmernummern und Codes für die Tür gesagt. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war abgewohnt, der Teppich nicht gesaugt und voller Fussel und Krümel."
