Upon check in, my room was not ready. I had a family reunion to get to and couldn’t get ready. They informed me they would call when it was ready. An hour later I called and they said oh we can get you in a room now if you want… were you not supposed to call? I got to my room and the smell of mildew was so strong we unloaded cologne all over the room and beds, I got changed in a hurry and left. I got back at 11 at night and went to brush my teeth and notice hair across the mirror in the bathroom. Was grossed out but brushed it off. Went to bed and turned on the TV to find that the sound was not working. Staff came to fix it but nothing worked. My son finally disconnected the cable box and got it to work. During all of this we discovered food on the floor next to the night stand. When I went to call the front desk about the TV and food and overall cleanliness, there were ants crawling all over the phone. I spoke with the front desk girl at checkout where I was assured management would contact me as she agreed that it was an AWFUL experience. I have yet to hear from anybody. The place was fully booked due to a baseball tournament and there was only one person on staff that night and there was no management even on call for the weekend? Also the front door was not working and had to use an extremely heavy to open side door that was definitely not handicap accessible and made for carrying bags in very difficult.

The gym and the variety of options for breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly and everything was clean.
