The Space
Villa Tranquila is an 1800-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa located just a short 3-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute walk to the heart of West End. No car is needed.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, TV, ample storage, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The second large bedroom includes two double-size beds, a TV, plenty of storage, and an en suite bathroom with a shower, making it perfect for two adults or children.

The open-concept design connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living area has two cozy sofas and comfortable chairs. The kitchen offers abundant counter space, storage, and a beautiful island for serving or meal prep. It is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals or have a personal chef cook for you. The dining table seats four inside, with an additional table for four outside to enjoy al fresco dining.

Outdoor Veranda with Ocean Views
The outdoor veranda is the perfect place to relax, whether sipping coffee in the morning shade or enjoying a cocktail in the afternoon sun. Take in sweeping views of the Caribbean Ocean and the community of Sunset Villas. The space also features a gas BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table for four.

Onsite parking is available for one vehicle directly behind the unit. Taxis and hired drivers are also readily available. Most bars, restaurants, and attractions are within walking distance.

Guest Access
Villa Tranquila is located on the third floor, with one set of stairs leading up from the driveway at the back of the building.

The villa is within walking distance of two Roatan beaches. Enjoy a drink or meal at Sunset Bar or Brisas Del Mar on the main strip, and you’ll have access to their beach chairs.

Half Moon Bay Beach is a great spot for snorkeling right from shore.

Water taxis are available in front of The Tiki Shop to take you to West Bay Beach for the day. You can also arrange island tours by boat, visit the dolphins at Anthony’s Key, go deep-sea fishing, or take a guided snorkeling trip.

West End is home to numerous dive shops that offer equipment rental and lessons for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced divers.

We are happy to arrange airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as additional cleaning services during your stay. For a special experience, we can also arrange for an in-home chef to prepare meals, giving you a taste of Roatan’s delicious cuisine.

Electricity Usage
Electricity costs are not included in the nightly rate due to high energy costs on Roatan. The island’s power company, Roatan Electric Company (RECO), relies on diesel generators, making electricity more expensive compared to mainland Honduras.

To keep rates fair, we charge guests based on actual electricity usage rather than a flat fee. The average cost for moderate air conditioning use in bedrooms at night and regular appliance use ranges from $8 to $14 per day.

We will record the meter reading at check-in and check-out, and the total usage will be multiplied by $0.50 per kWh. Payment can be made in cash or via Venmo or PayPal.

To help conserve energy, we encourage guests to turn off lights and air conditioning when not in use and keep doors and windows closed while using the air conditioner.

While power outages are less frequent, they may occur. In such cases, we ask guests to turn off faucets and showers to avoid water waste.

By practicing energy and water conservation, you contribute to Roatan’s sustainability efforts to protect its reef and jungle. Thank you for your cooperation.

Pool Access
Pool use is included in your stay for up to four guests. Two floaties are available for use. Pool hours are from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Additional Information
No pets are allowed inside or outside the condo. Additional cleaning fees will apply if this rule is violated.
