„We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). „Overall this was an excellent stay. Couple of things would have been nice conveniences, for example, extra blankets, tissues, paper for the fireplace or a fireplace starter. The cabin had a tub, but no shower, which was slightly disappointing. The cabin was clean and comfortable otherwise. „I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you.“
