The Foxlair Cottage at Lookout Mountain

Kick your shoes off and relax looking out over the amazing views from Foxlair Cottage. Take a hike through Cloudland Park just minutes away then come back to the cottage, enjoy your favorite beverage while gazing off into the sunset. Isn't that what getaways are meant to be!
The Foxlair Cottage has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. Whether you are coming to town for golfing at McLemore, hiking through Cloudland Canyon, visiting our local Lookout Lavender Farm, or hang gliding off Lookout Mountain, you won't want to leave. This beautifully updated home features all the modern conveniences including WiFi, A/C, and a W/D. Book your stay with us today.

Please be advised, for stays 30 days or longer, we require a "mid-stay" clean approximately every 15 days. The reduced cost of these clean(s) will be added together if applicable and calculated according to length of your stay - THIS ADDITIONAL COST IS NOT CALCULATED IN THE LISTING PRICE WHEN YOU INITIALLY BOOK and is due upon booking. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For this location, each clean will cost $85.

PMI Scenic City requires a rental agreement for all of our properties. Must be 21 or older to rent this property.

(For stays of 30 days or longer) A starting supply of consumable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee) will be provided upon check-in. For extended stays, guests are responsible for purchasing consumable goods if they need more outside of what is initially provided.

Towels: $4 - $38 per item
Bedding: $8 - $66 per item
Comforter: / Encasements $88 - $141 per item
Pillows: $27 per item

Furniture / Decor / Fixture: Charged to guest according to vendor repair invoice

Excessive clean fee: $50 - $200 depending on extent of work required

This property was perfect, it has everything you could need. Of course the view was the main attraction! It was the perfect location, 5 min away from the Cloudland Canyon State Park for hiking and several awesome restaurants for eating or picking up food and bring back. The Smokehouse was delicious and the Cafe was perfect for breakfast or a quick bite. Highly recommend this place, you will NOT be disappointed.

You don’t want to miss out on this gem! Such a beautiful home and an amazing view. It was a wonderful place for a getaway for my family and just a short ride to Lookout Mountain + See Rock City. The upstairs loft was a huge hit for my kids!! We enjoyed our stay so much!!

The house was very cozy, the view was amazing in the morning and was so relaxing. Kitchen provided every needs that you need. Even they checked on us if we needed anything to get our vacation better. Thank you for giving us best vacation view, definitely we will be back.

We LOVED the house. My kids had a blast staying in the loft area & we were all obsessed with the view. It was a short drive from Chattanooga & really close to lots of hiking spots. Our favorite thing to do at the house was sit out on the porch looking at the view & enjoying the silence.

My family and I were looking to spend a long weekend hiking and hanging together. This place gave us the most beautiful sunrises views, a cozy place to stay and close to cloud land canyon for hiking. The place was nicely decorated and had all the essentials and some extras that we appreciated. We sure would look forward to come again !

We wanted a nice place to stay near Chattanooga with a nice mountain view, and that's exactly what we got! Beautiful, modern home with some historical touches. Huge back porch with a gorgeous outlook. Host was kind and responsive.

I can't say enough good things about this property. It was decorated perfectly. Everything was very thought out from the kitchen to the bathrooms! The only thing I can negatively say is that we were up there for a wedding and didn't get to spend a lot of time at the home!!! I wish we had come a day earlier or stayed another day just to enjoy the home and views!! We look forward to booking again for a nice family getaway!
