Gut: Sauberkeit
The check-in process was confusing. By the scheduled check-in time, I still hadn't heard from the host despite several attempts to reach them. I eventually had to call to get the check-in instructions, but they were unclear about where to find the key. Our group of six spent about 20 minutes searching before finally finding it. We were able to laugh about our unexpected scavenger hunt!
The listing advertised that it sleeps six, but the sleeping arrangements consisted of one bed, three cots, and a regular couch (not a pull-out or sleeper sofa), which wasn't what we expected.
The shower also needed attention. It appeared to be broken, and the water temperature was extremely hot with no way to adjust it comfortably.
That said, the place was clean, had the amenities we needed, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Reykjavík.
