„This VRBO has a panoramic view of the Ketchikan harbor as advertised. This unit is perfect for a couple. We didn't have a vehicle during our stay, so we walked a lot. There are steep hills and lots of stairs which should be considered if that is an issue. Taxi service is reasonable and responsive if needed. We visited during the off-tourist season but were able to find several nice places to eat. “

„The Bear Den was a great home base for our family of 4 in Ketchikan. We could easily head into town or south to see eagles and bears, or head north for open views and whale watching. The balcony was a great place to end the day with family games and a view. Comfy beds and setup. Loved this property.“

„Beautiful 2 bedroom, newly decorated. Host responds in promptly. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Beautiful view of the harbor. Walking distance to everything. 1 minute walk to Creek Street. We would stay here again because of its proximity to everything and because it's so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed.“

„We loved the place. Plently of space for our party, Everyone had their own bed & two bathrooms. Only 20 mins from downtown. It is tucked back off the road, a nice place to relax after a day of exploration. We have no complaints & would stay again if make it back. We had a car to move around the island on our own pace, this is also why we chose a place off the beaten path. Loved it, total recommend!“

„Family of 4 adults stayed for 3 nights. We were here for salmon/halibut fishing. Host, John was great with communications for several months prior to our stay.The property features 3 bedrooms (2 queens and a full lower bunk). Also a living room/ with well stocked kitchenette (microwave), and keurig coffee maker.. A cozy, comfortable place to escape the Ketchikan bustle...not pretentious. The views are spectacular with cruise ships passing by and bald eagles and golden eagles perched near the ...

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay right across from the entrance to totem night trail. We toured it off hours to enjoy its secluded ambience as a couple! A large plum tree towers the porch, and was just ripening ! Just great!“
