„We had a great time at this house! We had three kids, our dog, and grandma join us for a little lake getaway. „We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at the Castle. Sam, the property manager, was flexible about initial check-in and was attentive and helpful. The property is gorgeous and there was so much to do. This is the perfect option for families and adult weekends alike. Couldn’t be happier with the process, honestly the online pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend!“

However, the property needs maintenance, the interior needs upkeep (light bulbs out, remotes need batteries, Master Bathroom sink remains clogged, interior drawers and cabinets need cleaned but the biggest concern was pest control (too many live roaches!) “

„We loved everything about this property. Its perfect for 2 people and located just a short distance from the things we wanted to do. For us, that included Gibbs Gardens, Amicalola Falls, Dahlonega, Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and plenty of antique shops. You won't find a better host either! Donna had the refrigerator stocked with our favorite beverages and plenty of breakfast items to choose from. It was such a treat to stay here!“

„A great time with my brothers and wives. The rental was very good with plenty of room. Lovely deck, views of the lake were great. Adequate kitchen and supplies for the 8 of us. We really enjoyed the screened in porch for our dinners. Very close to other amenities. Good Hot tub. Extras with the lake dock and canoe. Really fun time. We would recommend to friends.“

„Everything was brand new! It was well done & so cute. We were extremely impressed with the inside of this house. The house was a little hard to find- it is a steep driveway down one house away from a Citgo. They did a great job fencing the one side of the yard to add some privacy. The washer & dryer are stacked but were a nice set that did a great quick wash. They even left us a prepack of detergent! My teen daughter loved the complimentary toiletry items they had in each room for us. “

„Unfortunately next to our room was a party going on between 1am and 3 pm and we couldn’t sleep at all. Due to a connecting door between two rooms the noise was even louder. The hotel management should be more thoughtful when selecting rooms to guests. Wi-Fi also didn’t work how it’s supposed to be. Breakfast area way too small for size of hotel. No recommendation at all for this Hampton.“
