Cozy Apartment Minutes from Downtown

This is Josh and Christie's basement apartment. There is a separate entrance that you have entirely to yourself. We are just a 5-min. walk from downtown so you can easily walk to dinner, tour downtown, and check out everything the city has to offer. Sitting high above Mt Rushmore Road, light from 3 windows makes you feel above ground. Our back patio is nice for relaxing and our location can't be beaten.

The space
Our little home is small but cozy and cute. Our studio is perfect for your stay. With free wifi, AppleTV, and a central location, it’s a great place to call home while you’re in the Black Hills. Get out and explore, relax and watch some TV, or enjoy grilling and laying on the hammock in the backyard.

Guest access
Access to the house is the alley in the rear. Parking is limited but you have your own space. Head out to the front of the house to follow the sidewalk and walk downtown.

Other things to note
Parking is free and available but limited to 1 space (possible 2 on special request).

We use an August Lock for check-in. Once a booking is confirmed, it will auto-generate an email to you with check-in instructions so please look for that right away as some people miss it.

We welcome your pets, but we do charge an extra cleaning fee of $25 to allow for a more thorough cleaning after your furry friend visits.

The steps down to the apartment are very steep. If you have trouble getting up or down steps, it could make access more difficult.

The room is pretty spacious, but the ceilings are low. If you are taller than 6’1”, the height of the support beam in the room could be inconvenient.

We rent out the main level as a separate unit as well, but you have your own private space. Only Laundry and the backyard are shared.
