    Our neighborhood
    Rancho Santa Fe is a charming and historic village in San Diego’s North County. The village has a green and wonderful restaurants and cafes as well as 50 miles of trails, numerous golf courses and equestrian facilities.

    Del Mar racetrack/fair is minutes away as is Fletcher Cove, Cardiff State Beach, Del Mar Dog Beach, San Dieguito Lagoon and San Elijo Lagoon State Marine Conservation Area.

    We are ideally placed between LegoLand, San Diego Zoo, Safari Park and SeaWorld - all less than 30 minutes away. Gaslamp Quarter and Balboa Park are just 30 minutes away too.

    North County truly has everything; from five-star dining at Addison to authentic Mexican food, craft brew tasting rooms, urban wineries, and seaside bars. Try a hot-air balloon ride, horseback riding in Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve or paddle boarding and kayaking in Carlsbad Lagoon. Bike along the coast, or go sport fishing, whale watching or surfing, from La Jolla to Oceanside.

    Other north county attractions include the Flower Fields at Carlsbad and the San Diego Botanic Garden. At the Eastern border of North County, there is Las Vegas style Indian Casino Gaming and great wineries and local breweries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The casita was cozy, comfy, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our puppy enjoyed the grass area and sniffing noses with the horses through the fence. The beaches were a quick drive and the town square area is quaint and walkable with great restaurants and coffee shops. Our host was amazingly helpful with recommendations and suggestions. Highly recommend!

this was a beautiful spot for my mother to spend her 78th birthday! David and his wife were so welcoming and kind and the horses, property and sunsets were just lovely. VERY peaceful and only 35 mins from the airport and 12 mins to the beach!

Out host came out to welcome us, and was attentive to nay needs we might have had. The location was priceless for us. We totally enjoyed our stay here! The owners were so friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Their two horses were a bonus - they were friendly and gentle and we loved seeing them every day! The location is peaceful and quiet and a very short drive to the village of Rancho Santa Fe. The casita was spotless and well stocked with amenities. It was definitely designed with comfort in mind.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and David is such a great host. We look forward to our return visit!

The Casita was perfect for a relaxing vacation and his two beautiful horses made the vacation very memorable and special. David was so kind and helpful. He provided us with carrots so we could feed his horses and allowed us to feed them watermelon which was a highlight for me and my daughter. He even brought gifts for my two pups. Being 10 minutes away from such beautiful beaches was so convenient for us, allowing us to go for walks on the beach. The casita was very clean and had all the necessary amenities available. The towels were of the highest quality and the bedding was cozy and comfortable. David also allowed me to charge electric vehicle. He was the perfect Host. Thank you so much David. We hope to be back again:)

To say that David, our host, is a premier host is an understatement. My wife and i have traveled extensively and stayed with VRBO properties. This is BY FAR the most enjoyable and beautiful place to stay when visting the north of San Diego. David is truly an amazing not just host but person. The Casita is a perfect get away for two people and their beloved doggie. We had Ollee our love Havanese. He enjoyed visiting with Jackson and Annie the two lovely horses on the property.
