Kent Place is home to the well known and beautiful Kent Steps which have recently been installed with Pugin-style tiles designed by local Secondary School children.

Tucked away from the Harbour Parade, Kent Place is nicely located for anyone looking for a beach holiday with local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants on their doorstep.

Our Guest Folder in the house will be full of recommendations as to where to eat and visit.

Guests who book for 6 or more people or require the use of the zip and link beds will have access to the entire property. If there are 4 or fewer guests, the basement bedroom will be locked.

Harbourside has a keypad entry system. Guests will be issued with their own unique code a few days before arrival along with instructions as to how to operate the keypad entry system.
The house has a lot of stairs which will keep you fit. We would not recommend this property for anyone who would struggle with stairs or who requires wheelchair access.

Harbourside offers the perfect stay for anyone looking for a seaside break whether it be with family, friends or someone to stay whilst working in the local area.
If you want to see some of the best views in Ramsgate, you can relax on the beautiful rooftop terrace which overlooks Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour.
It’s also perfectly located if you want to visit any of Ramsgate’s many amazing bars and harbourside restaurants.
Harbourside offers our guests a luxurious, modern and comfortable stay in one of the most stunning locations in the area.

The space
The property boasts three luxurious double bedrooms located over three floors, one of which has an ensuite bathroom and another with its own WC. A luxury family bathroom with both a bath and shower and a heated towel rail is located on the first floor. On the top floor, you will find a fully equipped open plan kitchen and a comfy and stylish Living Room beautifully furnished with a double sofa bed. The jewel in the crown is our luxury rooftop terrace which has stunning views of the beach and harbour area.
All bedrooms have Smart TV’s which hosts Freeview and Netflix.
The property also allows guest free access to a super-fast Wifi connection.


From the living room, you can access the beautiful rooftop terrace which has a comfortable seating area where you can watch the sunrise or the sunset or enjoy pre-dinner drinks before heading out to one of Ramsgate’s many top-class restaurants. You can even see France on a clear day.

Our first double bedroom, located in the Basement beneath the spiral staircase, homes a Kingsize bed which can be set as two single beds if required. Here you have access to your own shower and toilet. There is also a desk/dressing table.

Bedroom number two is located on the ground floor and has a double bed and its own WC.

Bedroom number three is on the first floor and is located next to the main bathroom. This room has a double bed. There is a desk/dressing table available in this room also.


The Kitchen/Living room is located on the 2nd floor of the house and has everything you need for your stay. There is a hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a coffee bar which is all free to use for our guests.

From the Kitchen/Living room, you can access our rooftop terrace which has stunning 360 views of Ramsgate, the beach and the Royal Harbour. This is a great place to take your morning coffee or sit and eat your evening meal. The rooftop terrace has plug sockets and USB ports which allows our guests to enjoy the living space even more.

Local bars and restaurants are pretty much on the doorstep.

It's easy to catch a bus which can take you to neighbouring towns-this is located just on the Harbour.

Ramsgate train station is within close proximity as well as local bus routes into surrounding towns such as Margate and Broadstairs. The bus stop is located on the Harbour and is a 3 minute walk from the house.
Driving around Ramsgate and surrounding towns is also very easy.
There are also some great Coastal walks for those who are interested.
Ramsgate train station = 1.3 miles/7 minutes by car/taxi
Broadstairs-7 minutes by car/42 minutes walk (a lovely walk along the cliff tops and through King George V Park)
Margate Beach-16 mins by car/taxi
Ramsgate Tunnels- 6 minute walk
The Grange-16 minute walk

The Property does not have a parking space and does not have access via a road. We would recommend parking in the nearby car park to unload any baggage and then driving to find a longer stay parking spot. We will advise on this upon booking.

Ramsgate provides a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. In addition to Ramsgate and its Royal Harbour and sandy beaches, the other areas of the Kent Riviera are easily accessible. Broadstairs and Margate are 10 minutes by car and the historic town of Canterbury is just 30 minutes away.

This property does not have parking facilities however there are plenty of pay and display car parks or nearby roads that allow free parking.
