The space

Two level home with 3 bedrooms.

1st floor Master with queen memory foam bed with entrance to 1st floor shared bathroom.

2nd floor Green Bedroom with 1 queen memory foam bed.

2nd floor Blue Bedroom with 1 queen memory foam bed and 1 twin memory foam bed.

Each bedroom is equipped with mounted TVs with Roku, blackout and noise buffering curtains, dressers, closets with hangers, mirrors, side tables, lamps, alarm clocks with built in sound machines and desks.

1st floor 4th bedroom is a dedicated Office/Game Room where you can be sure remote work can be done. A printer and wi-fi are yours to use for work or play. In the Office/Game Room closet, you can find books and games for any age and genre! We've supplied a few toys just in case the kids need entertainment. The lounge area with sofa, coffee table, and TV are there for you when you need to sit back and unwind. The coffee table is the perfect spot to set up a board game.

All TVs are equipped with Roku. You can stream Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and more on your personal accounts by logging in on guest mode. Just enter your checkout date and you will automatically be logged out of your accounts the day you leave.

KITCHEN

The updated modern herringbone tile kitchen is fully equipped for dining, cooking, baking, or ordering takeout. Eat a meal at the adjacent dining table and make some everlasting memories.

THE YARD

The backyard is an oasis all its own. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped backyard and sit or dine on the patio deck or lounge area. From there you can enjoy the garden view up the 3 tiered retaining wall. While the yard is not fenced in, the lush landscaping surrounds most of the perimeter, but because we can not ensure pets safety from staying contained within the yard, we have a strict no pet policy. For the safety of your pet and the neighbors, pets are strictly prohibited from being on the property.

Level 1 of the retaining wall contains a garden of roses, camellias and so much more. For safety, walking on the mulch garden is not permitted. To get to the upper levels, follow the rock path to the stairs.

On the 2nd level you'll find the tile patio seating area. A beautiful ivy backdrop sits behind the chairs and is ready for you to capture those perfect photo ops.

Once you reach the 3rd level you will find the beautiful vineyard that is currently in bloom. Please note the barbed wire around top of the vineyard. It is to keep animals from eating the grapes and vines and must be avoided. Opposite the vineyard, you will find a spacious grassy area for you to enjoy. We supplied you with corn hole and a few yard games and that area is a great spot to play. Responsibly and safely of course.

Children under 13 must be supervised at all times near the retaining walls and all areas of the backyard. Please note the retaining wall rules in our house rules section. Safety is our priority.

You will have access to the entire property with the exception of the locked owners closets.

Seamless self check-in and check-out with Smart Lock with your personal and unique entry code. Backup entry key is available for emergencies.

Other things to note
For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we have exterior security cameras located on the property and are recording audio and video 24/7. Cameras are located at the front door, driveway, and back of house facing the yard.

We love the charm our neighborhood offers and our wonderful neighbors. The house is conveniently located close to (almost) everything Raleigh has to offer. It's less than 5 minutes from main roads and highways making getting around super easy. It's a wonderful place to call your new home away from home.

Shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, ice cream shops, coffee shops, bars, and pizza are all within a few minutes from our doorstep.

One of the wonderful things about Raleigh is its diversity. In our neighborhood you'll hear kids laughing and playing. It's common to see couples out for a stroll, neighbors gardening or friends enjoying a conversation. You'll probably see people walking their dogs, and possibly neighbors giving away eggs from their chicken coops. You may hear the sounds of a rooster checking in. While the sounds from a rooster can be heard outside, the sounds have not caused an audible problem in the interior of the house. But because we want our guests to have a wonderful stay and be as comfortable as possible, we have stocked the house with noise buffering curtains, shades, sound machines, and ear plugs just in case. We don't think it's necessary, but again, we just want to make sure our guests are comfortable.

Critters, bugs, and animals are native to Raleigh, and it is not uncommon for some pests to appear. In order to reduce the risk of these unwanted pests, it's important to keep doors and windows closed, clean up messes or spills - even outside, and to keep trash in the proper covered receptacles. We ask that you do not eat in bedrooms or office, but if you do, please be mindful of crumbs and clean up. A dust buster and vacuum are provided for your use. Routine pest service is provided and monitored. All bugs aside, you'll still have fun and enjoy all the things Raleigh and The Raleigh Modern Cottage have to offer!
