Nestled in the clifftops overlooking family-friendly Lorenzen Bay, this secluded waterfront home is a Raglan retreat with everything you could wish for. Tastefully renovated, it keeps its character and peaceful coastal vibe alongside modern conveniences, with uninterrupted harbour views and your own private waterfront access.

This two-storey 1950s home can be booked as the upstairs main house (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeping 5) or as the whole property with the self-contained downstairs unit (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping 7), perfect for extended families or groups. Upstairs, Bedroom 1 has a Super King bed and Bedroom 2 a bunk set (double underneath, single on top), and the jack-and-jill bathroom has a large shower, vanity, toilet and washing machine.

The downstairs unit, reached by external stairs only, has a Queen bedroom, a bathroom with shower over bath, a kitchen, living room and its own outdoor area. If only the upstairs is booked, the unit is not accessible and stays unoccupied. All beds have superior mattresses and soft linens.

The fully equipped kitchen opens to an outdoor area overlooking Raglan Harbour, ideal for a Kiwi barbie at sunset, and the living room has a smart TV and heat pump. A private walkway through native bush leads to Lorenzen Bay for a paddle, kayak or splash, with a shaded picnic spot by the boatshed.

We provide linen, towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, laundry powder and gas for the BBQ. The house is down a long driveway with off-street parking for two cars. It has been renovated but has some quirks due to its age. The township is a 3 to 5 minute drive, and surfers will love Manu Bay.

- No pets
- Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, remove butts from the property on departure.
- Residential area - Quiet time from 10pm to 9am.
- Events and parties are not permitted without prior arrangement. Guests limited to number booked. Extra charge if exceeded.
- BBQ (if available): clean with supplied cleaner after use. Cleaning fee if left dirty.
- Rubbish: 1x full blue bag allowed. Take extra with you or use a local refuse station (see house info folder).
- Recycling: 1x full bin per stay. Extra: take with you or $25/box disposal charge.
- No EV charging.
- Left belongings: $20 minimum return fee plus courier cost.
- Motion-sensor security camera may be present at entrance door. Footage may be reviewed if misconduct is suspected.

To protect your stay and our properties, ID verification is required before access details are released, and your booking is conditional on completing it. After payment, you`ll get a secure link to the property portal and will need to verify with a photo ID and a quick selfie — access details are released automatically once it`s done. Takes a few minutes; your data is handled securely by the portal operator, SuiteOp. Failure to complete ID verification will result in your booking being cancelled. Cancellation fees may apply.
