We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina.“

„Das Haus von Matt ist wirklich wunderschön. Wir waren zu 7 Personen und hatten viel Platz. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen . Direkt neben dem Haus hatte ein Weisskopfadler sein Nest aufgeschlagen und wir haben sogar Whale gesehen - oder waren es Delphine ? The river is right nearby, offering excellent fishing opportunities, and we even had the chance to observe some black bears. The apartment turned out to be the third floor of a three-story house, which wasn't clear from the initial description. Despite the somewhat run-down appearance of the exterior, the apartment itself was quite sturdy and, most importantly, clean. However, the kitchen equipment was somewhat limited, ...

„The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. Its in a very quiet location on the Island of Qadra, reasonably close to shops/amenities. But the best thing about the house is it's built overlooking an estuary and has a fabulous deck area. We spent a lot of time sat watching the wildlife - Bald Eagles, Sea Otters, Seals, Mink, woodpeckers to name a few.“
