„We were staying in Foshan as the prices compared to Guangzhou are much more affordable. The Courtyard is a new hotel with comfortable rooms. The two towers are one for the Marriot and one for the cheaper Courtyard which offers a similar good accommodation. In the backyard are some restaurants of which the Paulander German Brauhaus and a MacDo. We preferred to walk 10 minutes through a park to reach the food street and night market. „The room lacked many features such as minibar, safebox etc. There aren't any bars or pubs that I could find in the area, the the hotel doesn't have a bar either. So there is nowhere to grab an after-work beer. There were a few clubs and KTV Places, but they are the kind with Zuo Tai's and Chu Tai's which makes those places not suitable for married men. Compared to price, the hotel was decent anyway.“
