„We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. There were some initial issues which were resolved by the owner very promptly. The information from Oyster Cottages describes a Superking size bed in the main room, It is a very comfy bed in a lovely room but it is only a Kingsized. The two singles in the 2nd bedroom downstairs can be converted to a Superking size though. My score of 3 on cleanliness is due to this being an old property and there were inevitable cobwebs in nooks and crannies but we found ...

„Greenacres is much more spacious than the pictures show. Loads of space for 4 and the gardens are big too. Very comfortable and well equipped, didn’t get that “empty” feeling that some holiday lets have. Also it was such a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the pie and pub quiz night at the very friendly aqua bar just down the way. Also the art gallery and cafe a few mins walk away is wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. Look out for bunnies in the garden! Would love to stay again“

„Good value but the whole house could do with a thorough deep clean and a review of condition of fixing and fixtures plus updating. It would also be good to ensure there are suitable kitchen pans and tools as would be expected for a house that houses 10 occupants. As well as a deep clean, it would be nice that someone ensured all cutlery and plates were in a clean state prior to being occupied as we had to wash everything before use. Despite this we had an excellent short stay.“

„Room clean. Shabby building, stairs and corridors but room ok. TV unwatchable due to bad signal. WIFI should not be advertised as it alternated between very poor and non existent. Overpriced.“

„Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Great position and waterside views from front. Occasional train noise at rear. We were there in heatwave so a couple of fans would have been useful.“

„Had a lovely romantic getaway. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym all literally 10 metres away from the room. Also a great little games room with pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis and much more all free of charge, again opposite the room. Lots of friendly farm animals that you can visit as often as you wish, the hosts are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be returning.“
