„This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. „Die Lage der Wohnung ist klasse. Die Wohnung selber, außer die Küche (neu), ist allerdings in die Jahre gekommen.“

„Our party of 12 had a great stay at Tessa property. Location was perfect for what we wanted (kids had a ball riding their bikes around the nice quite cul-de-sac, river/local cafe/playground within nice walking distance). House was well stocked w everything we needed & had plenty of room for everyone (kids loved all staying together in the big bunk room). Brazier was a nice touch for some mid-winter cheer. Tessa was a very responsive & accommodating host.“

"Die Zimmer waren von der Einrichtung sehr alt und abgenutzt. Durch die hohen Decken wirkt der Raum aber trotzdem ganz nett. Der Innenhof lädt zum Sitzen und Abendessen ein und ist gut belebt ohne laut zu sein. Es gab eine doppelte Herdplatte, eine Spüle, eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank sowie eine Grundausstattung an Geschirr und Salz/Pfeffer und Spüli, auch hier aber alles etwas älter (trotzdem funktional). Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren sehr in die Jahre gekommen, haben aber funktioniert. Alles in allem durch die Nähe zum Tongariro Nationalpark und mit Supermarkt direkt nebenan eine Unterkunft in der man sich gut aufhalten kann, wenn man nicht zu viel erwartet. "
