Amazing place

The water is so clear you can watch the fish swim around the deck and through the glass floor in the living space. We loved the place and would definitely consider coming back again.

Beautiful remote location

Unbelievable view on a more remote island. Excellent if you’re looking to relax away from the crowds and enjoy the beautiful water and view. It requires preparation (bring food and water) but it’s worth it. We spent two days there and it was just right.

We had an amazing time! The property was clean and well stocked. The views were amazing, we were able to jump off our porch into the water. The snorkeling was amazing. Wonderful Sunset

Quiet paradise in Bocas del Toro. Juan was amazing taking us in the water taxi to and from dock and helping with luggage. Restaurants in the area were great. Downside was lots of little biting bugs. Bocas town is a little rough around the edges. Poli was helpful arranging taxis and providing information.

We had a wonderful time! We found it easy to call for taxis. BoBo and Mikol were our tour guides and water taxi! We brought a cooler of food to chef up most nights but we did go to dinner one night to an incredible small Italian restaurant! Such great food. The house is pretty secluded, which is what we wanted, more stars and less noise. We heard the howler monkeys at the house, saw a local manta ray on a daily basis, and swam with incredible fish, all of this was right at the house. Just fyi, the water at the house is rain water so we brought 2- 5 gallon jugs of water with us for drinking and cooking. Seriously not a big deal we just wanted to be safe. There are so many kind helpers around that help you load and unload the boats, bringing extra water was not a big deal. just make sure you tip. They make it well worth it! We were adventurous one day and rented 4-wheelers to take to blue lagoon. If I were to do it again, I would have rented electric bikes. It is about 15 km through the jungle on a trail, well worth it! The 4-wheelers were fun but just kind of loud. It would have been better to have the quiet bikes to hear the jungle. We got to take a shower at Skullies, then went to dinner. Awesome time. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

Phenomenal!

The property was exactly as advertised, and Poli was attentive to our needs. We visited during the off season and were blown away by the quiet solitude of the property the beautiful water, and the kind and attentive caretaker that chauffeured us around in the boat and ensured we had everything we needed. We'll be reserving this again, hopefully the road work will be completed on Isla Colon when we return (it was a mess)!

My wife and I are in our 70s we’re looking for peace. Well we found it in spades. The snorkeling was amazing as well as the viewing though the glass floor absolutely amazing. A boat ride away

The property was as advertised. The property owner was fantastic - ask and she delivers - transportation, drivers - assistance with other properties in Panama City. We three are in our 70s so many of the activities were not used - SCUBA diving. If you want rest, relaxation, beautiful sunrise, sunset, a swim in the cool ocean, this is the place.

Beautiful and peaceful island house.

The house is in good condition and feels like home. We loved the views from the deck and spent most of our time there. I loved rocking in the hammock and listening to the waves and feeling the breeze off the ocean. We took a trip to another part of the island to snorkel but we actually saw more fish right under the house. We even had a ray visit several times. During the day we took a short boat ride to Bocas Town for fun but it was nice to have a quiet place to stay at night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Unique Experience

An amazing experience! A great place to get away to relax. Ernesto the boat captain and house maintainer was so polite and Poli was wonderful. She ensured that we had a taxi waiting for us when we left and took care of everything. The house is clean and a great way to get away into the woods without being in the woods. There were cute geckos at night and we had no issues with bugs. An absolutely once in a lifetime experience with great views.

Poli was great with communication. Staying at this house is kinda like living on a boat. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and play in the ocean then this house is for you. It’s a 8 min boat ride to the closest market so bring lots of water with you. You’ll need at least 2 gallons of water a day. You’ll want to brush your teeth and cook with bottled water. The boat ride to Bocas town is 15-20 mins. Bocas town is where you’ll find restaurants, markets, banks, etc. Make sure you bring plenty of cash because you’ll need cash to pay for the water taxis. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing in the ocean.

Almost magical

Short water taxi ride from Saigon dock. Very quiet and relaxing location with stunning sunset views. All the comforts of home(except AC)but cooled off during the evening. Poli was extremely helpful and was always in communication. On site helper Ronald was very helpful and was always around to assist if needed. Few no see ems at night but bug spray helped. We are already considering a future visit with family and use both houses!Thank you Poli and Ronald

Our Bocas Adventure

This home was a delight to stay in for 10 days. The home was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the appliances easy to use. The snorkeling around the home was fabulous with numerous varieties of colorful fish and corals all around. It was so convenient, some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced was right around the house. The very best part of our stay, was the wonderful hospitality we received from our host's. They were warm and generous, and offered great suggestions for dinner and transportation in town. This property would be our first choice in renting, when we return to Bocas del Toro. Peaceful Island Getaway – Great Stay with Poli!

We had a wonderful experience in Bocas Del Toro! The property was exactly as advertised—peaceful, clean, and perfect for a relaxing escape. Poli was an amazing host: friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. The island itself is beautiful and felt very safe, even with our young children (ages 6, 8, and 10). One travel tip: be cautious when booking with AirPanama, as they changed our flight time last-minute, which caused a delay in our arrival. We ended up using Flytrip instead, which provided a much smoother and more exclusive travel experience.Be sure to take Poli’s recommendations for tours, drivers, and shops—they were more reasonably priced and added a lot of value to our trip. Highly recommend this stay for families looking for a safe and memorable adventure!

Unique experience

We stayed here for 3 days in early August. The location is fantastic and we had a great time. Poli and her husband are very helpful and nice. Note that there are other similar houses on the water in the neighborhood (they have been built in recent time). During our stay, most of the other houses were empty, but in high season you would probably hear sounds from the other houses. Also note that if you like airconditioning, this is not your place. During our stay, there was hardly any wind, so the heat stays inside during the night. We did not have any issues with mosquitoes. Small point of improvement is that the kitchen equipment was a bit sparse, but Poli was helpful with some small additions. It was a unique experience for sure!

This is a once in a life time experience, do not miss it! However, you must go with the right expectations. First, don’t worry about anything … communication in Panama is not always clear, but the people are so nice, and really work hard to make things work out. I was concerned about eating. This is a remote bungalow, with no road access. You can only arrive via water taxi and it’s a 15 minute ride to the town. When you get to the airport, find a taxi, they will take you to buy groceries. Then go to the Saigon dock and load up the water taxi. Next, you need cash … they don’t take credit cards. Bring plenty, it’s safe and no fear of theft. The property was clean, and comfortable with the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Go snorkeling, go to Zapatilla Beach. I recommend against the dolphin watching, because the guides are really torchering and scaring the dolphins trying to get them to jump out of the water. Food is delicious everywhere. WiFi is excellent. Water is safe enough for cooking and no problems having ice in your drinks. Overall, for a well travelled guest, this is one of the best places I have ever been.

Paradise in Bocas Del Toro

We can't say enough great things about this property. Poli and Lyo are great hosts and have created a little piece of paradise minutes from Bocas town. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and quiet. The house is situated right on top of a coral reef with amazingly clear blue water, teaming with sea life. No need to go on a snorkelling trip as the best fish are right under and around the house. We saw sting rays, squid, Angel fish, sea cucumbers, needle fish and huge schools of little green sardines. The glass floor in the living room was really awesome. We had no issues with mosquitos during our stay, but it always a good idea to have bug spray when coming to the tropics. Amazing sunsets every night, viewed from the beautiful, spacious, private deck. Having the complimentary boat ride to town each day was really helpful in getting groceries or just wanting to walk around town for a few hours. We spent 5 nights here and from check-in to check-out, our hosts were there to greet us. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who likes to unwind, relax and basically just chill out. We would highly recommend this property and we hope to be able to come back again soon. Sarah & Mike P
