„What a lovely place to stay with an amazing private dock. Our host was super responsive after we checked in and the welcome book had the details we needed to get comfortable. If you're looking for some piece and quiet you can't go wrong booking this home. Town is just a short drive away with access to groceries and a couple of restaurants. The pickle ball court looks amazing and will provide you and your family hours of enjoyment. The table tennis is also an option if the rain forces you ...

„This home is lovely, with river views from multiple rooms. It is decorated with so many nice touches, the kitchen is well stocked, and it is located on a quiet dead-end street while still being close to the river walk and downtown. Best of all was our host Amy-what a friendly and helpful soul! She kindly furnished beach chairs and sand buckets for our trip to the river, and she shared info with my grandson about nearby arcades.“

„Our small family loved staying at this lovely, well designed and very clean home on the Columbia river about 15 minutes east of Astoria. We spent as much time as we could outside on the back patio deck enjoying the view and good weather and did lots of bird watching. The beds were very comfortable, and it was easy to cook in the kitchen, play games and watch a movie in the living room. We were also happy to have AC during hot afternoons. „Would have been nice to know there was nowhere to park my truck with my boat! Had to back all the way down the street to get my boat back out from this house. Ended up parking my boat at my cousins place as no way to park it at this place. I did ask the owner if there would be room to park my boat there and he never returned my message! Do not take a boat to this location!“

„There is only one real bedroom. Down stairs there are two rooms that have beds in them but one is missing a door, and the other does not have an egress window. Upstairs is a cute little loft. It is almost never needed, but be advised there is no AC. Also there was not internet, or Cable TV for the one TV in the unit. A nice addition was the water filter in the fridge and the Keurig with Coffee in the cabinet. Overall we had a lovely stay and the things that didn't work didn't ruin our short ...

„We really enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and secluded. The kids enjoyed playing at the beach, in the yard, and even in the home. The double hammock fit my husband and I comfortably and had an amazing view of the river. The home was clean and had everything we needed (even some extras). Plenty of linens and towels, dish and laundry soap, bathroom toiletries. The beds, including the sleeper sofa were comfortable. Just overall an amazing place to stay!“

Astoria Crest Motel

"Wir waren hier für 3 Übernachtungen. Das Motel liegt ein paar Minuten ausserhalb von Astoria und etwas erhöht am Ufer des Columbia River. Man hat einen herrlichen Blick über den Fluss. Das Motel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste renoviert werden. Die Betten sind eindeutig zu weich und durchgelegen. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber und in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und war eins der Besten auf unserem USA Trip. Der Preis war mit $226 für Juni schon hoch, man bezahlt halt die Lage."

"Eine der besten kleinen Unterkünfte die wir bis jetzt besucht hatten. Superlage, alles durchdacht, toll eingerichtet, schöner Außenbereich. Die viel befahrene Strasse war zuhören, gerade wenn Trucks vorbei fuhren, hat uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Wir würden wieder kommen, sehr zuempfehlen."
