Peninsula is a 5 star luxury condominium located right on the beach overlooking Banderas Bay. The property includes all the amenities you can imagine, an infinity pool, wading pool, theater, bar lounge area, business center, 24-hour security, and parking. This is the largest floor plan corner unit located on the 15th floor with magnificent ocean, town and mountain views. The condo is centrally located and close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and coffee shops.

The unit is nicely decorated with modern furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. The oversized balcony has majestic views and has plenty of seating to enjoy.

Located in the best area of Puerto Vallarta between downtown and the Marina District close to everything.

The view from this condo is beyond perfection! Amazingly spacious enough for our family of 7. The beach is super accessible. The property boasts one of the biggest pools I've ever seen! The manager, Nelly, was very responsive. Our housekeeper graciously allowed us to leave our luggage in the unit an extra hour while we had some pool time before our flight home. Security is very tight. I noticed they tended to be a little passive aggressive with men staying at the property, constantly asking my husband and I what condo we were staying in as we were just walking from the room to the pool even though we were clearly wearing the required bracelets, but left the women and children in our party alone. That part was a bit awkward and offensive, however, I understand they are doing the most to protect the permanent residents that live there. This did not make us feel welcome. They also became pushy when we were leaving and rushed us to get our airport transportation information while hovering over us until the car arrived. It felt like they had some bad apples before and chose to treat us as suspects. Other than that, I highly recommend this rental to families and couples. Not recommended for parties with more than one adult man unless you like feeling harrased.

Great Vacation Stay

What a great place to spend a vacation with our family! The weather was perfect and this condo in Tower 2 is very comfortable and roomy. Our contact with Nelly was excellent. She immediately took care of a few minor problems we had. We love the location of Peninsula Towers. The furniture while not new was comfortable and serviceable. It worked out well. The Peninsula is in a great location for visiting old town by bus or uber. The restaurants near by, especially Cafe Top were very good. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this condo again. The biggest drawback is the Dance Club and Rock Fest that has incredibly loud music on Fri, Sat, and Sunday (not affiliated with The Peninsula). But, the beach, the pool and the condo will definitely bring me back.

Amazing Condo and location

Beautiful spacious condo in a great Hotel zone location. Corner unit with wrap around deck with expansive views of the beach and bay. Nelly was very supportive and responsive throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend renting this condo and will definitely stay here again

Beautiful Condo with Stunning Views, But Room for Improvement

Our stay featured stunning ocean views, easy beach access, and proximity to Starbucks and other conveniences. The interior was immaculate, though the balcony wasn’t cleaned properly. Traffic noise and the need for long walks or Uber rides to authentic areas were drawbacks.The pool was large and enjoyable with plenty of seating, but inconsistent rule enforcement sometimes caused noise and disruptions. Gym access wasn’t available, which was disappointing given the price. The internet was unreliable, with frequent connectivity issues that made work calls stressful. TVs lacked instructions, apps like Netflix didn’t work, and mirroring devices was difficult due to the connectivity problems.Communication with management was reactive rather than proactive, and some provided information was outdated. While the property offers beautiful views, a convenient location, and a well-kept interior, these issues made the stay good but not great.

This was my first experience with ANY Vacation Rental and I was impressed of how much you can get for the price you pay on this kind of Property Rental. We were very pleased with the communication with the property manager in advance, as well during our stay. First off, this property is in a great location. It is a great spot for those traveling with kids. It is within walking distance from anything you may need. There is a grocery store near by as well as a shopping center and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a 5 gallon water dispenser in the condo. Our checkin was a bit rough, we were given the wrong information and had to wait outside the gate until it was sorted out. A bit annoying but no big deal. The owners could work a bit on the commutation. We had requested late checkout because our flight left at 4:30pm and we were traveling with a baby. Late checkout is an additional $175, this would have been good to know in advance during booking. We had to leave at 11:00am and wait at the airport and didn’t hear back from the owner over an hour after we had checked out. The dryer was not working either and there was no one to help us with that. We were hoping to do laundry on site after a few days of traveling in Mexico. The owner didn’t know about the dryer and didn’t follow up. Overall it is a great place to stay. I did feel there were too many extra cost that would be nice to know in advance but they are not real breakers. Nothing major but I hate surprises. If they workout their communication and sort out their checkin and check out process the experience would be much much better. If you are traveling with kids this is a much better experience than a hotel in my opinion. I would likely book again.

Great spot but...

The Peninsula is a well located, very secure spot with a nice beach and huge pool. Nice grounds, private, relatively quiet. Clientele is primarily 60+. This is a corner unit and is very expansive. The view from the balcony is incredible. We saw whales and dolphins daily! The space itself is well laid out, but needs a lot of updating and refreshing. The kitchen and bathroom cabinetry are run down and outdated and there are lots of scuffs and spots on the walls. The furniture is fine but could also use an update. Mattresses and bedding were fine. Air conditioning in bedrooms worked well and there's a wonderful cross breeze throughout the unit so you don't need the AC during the day. Washer and dryer were a plus. Overall, it worked for us but I think for the price the unit should be refreshed and be much more thoroughly cleaned up arrival.

Location, location, location and - that is the key to this place!! Beautiful ocean front view with a huge wrap around porch. The general condition of the place could use some sprucing up…paint walls, fix mirror, couple of outlets didn’t work in the master bedroom. It basically feels like the place is getting close to needing a total update in terms of cabinets, counters, cupboards, etc. However, overall it was great because we loved the location which was ideal. The property is very secure, general amenity spaces around the pool and such were beautiful, plenty of towels and basic appliances and everything worked, balcony furnishings were excellent, beds and pillows were comfortable, place was clean and organized. The property manager was very responsive and professional, great English speaking skills so it was easy to communicate. .

Amazing Views - great location

Great overall property. Don't disagree with other reviewers and some of their negative comments but it would really be nitpicking on what i considering a great location. Access to stores is easy, solid restaurants for either fine dining or street food, clean and safe and with all the amenities one could need in a vacation rental. 10/10 would recommend to friends, 10/10 would stay here again in the future.

White Christmas... Sand not Snow

Nine days for seven adults and a one-year old in very comfortable 3-bedroom condo. Plenty of space, even a small bed in the laundry room if you need it. This unit is on the 15th floor. You have to be comfortable with heights. The views are amazing. We never had to wait for an elevator although the building was full. And, this isn't mentioned in the listing, but you have parachuters landing in front of your windows everyday. Windows wrap the entire unit. Every room has a view of the water or mountains. To awake in the master suite with the sun coming over the Sierra Madres was such a treat. Blinds and great AC kept the unit cool. We had an issue with one AC unit and Nelly got it fixed immediately. Easy fix and she even overcame our mistake when we sent the AC Repair guy away because my wife didn't know he was coming. Nelly is super responsive. While she had her own Christmas to celebrate, she was available all the time and immediately. The kitchen was a little under supplied but Nelly helped us out. If you don't know induction cooktops, this unit has an induction cooktop (no manual or instructions in the unit). Dishwasher needs to replaced. Dining room table seats 8 and we had such great family dinners. Two really good grocery stores within walking distance and a Costco is just a 70-peso taxi away. BTW, DVDs mentioned are in Spanish. The security at the building is very strong (seems like overkill, but I trust them). They are also strong in the public areas, (no shoeless, shirtless or wet people from the pool through the lobby. Also, no drinks in the pool or rough play). They run a tough ship. The pool is amazing in size and design. It needs some repairs but that isn't Nelly's issue. We had a one-year old and we could not have found a better pool for him. We also had seven adults and we enjoyed the pool and beach. We paid for Nelly's optional transportation out of convenience but I know that you can get a taxi from the condo to the airport for 150 pesos (our kids did it). Speaking of transportation, it is a half mile from the lobby to the city street. The good news is that you can take a bus to anywhere from that street. Lots of transportation options. If you are unfamiliar with PV (we where) the Peninsula is in modern PV. If you are thinking old coble stones, city squares and that Mexican feel, that is Zona Romantica. It was a 250-peso taxi ride for us to get there from the Peninsula. Not far but too far to walk (4 to 5 miles).

Amazing views and perfect location

We loved the condo, very spacious corner unit, a huge wrap-around balcony with ocean and mountain views. The beachfront complex is beautiful and extremely well kept with 24 hr. security, only guests and residents have access. The pool is wonderful, the staff is very friendly, fully equipped kitchen. We hired a housekeeper a couple of times and she left the condo spotless (her name is Daisy) ask to reserve her services in advance. Nelly and Kent the property managers in Houston always kept in touch with us making sure we were enjoying our much-needed vacation after a long confinement due to Covid, they arranged restaurant reservations and referred us to a reliable driver, Uber is also available. We had an AC problem in one of the bedrooms and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Restaurants, supermarkets, shops are within walking distance, downtown, the Romantic Zone and the Marina district are a short cab ride. This property, staff and property managers deserve a solid 5 star review.

Pros - The property is located in a very nice, safe and secure community. The condo itself has beautiful views of the ocean and downtown Puerto Vallarta. The infinity pool and the bar service is also great. Cons - The host way overcharged us for our roundtrip taxi and one extra trip to the airport. Her drivers were rude because they had to take us to do a Covid test in spite of receiving an additional generous tips in US Dollars. The local taxi drivers in Puerto Vallarta are very nice and very very reasonable and the condo is literally 7 minutes from the airport. We were clearly rippe off as this should have cost us way less. BE AWARE that the cleaning person who the host will send to clean the condo during your stay will serve as the owner's spy and will literally go through the rooms one by one and take photos. This is a serious privacy concern. The host sent me a photo and complained about sleeping in the balcony overnight. I was very uncomfortable after that. The rules did not say you could not sleep in the balcony. There was A LOT of construction going on in the building when we were there and the loud noise, as well as the dust and debris emanating from polishing floors was both disturbing and disgusting. There was a pip burst in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms and aside from the horrible moisture odor, they had to come in and inspect. If I were paying for cheap motel, I would have been okay with these issues but not when I paid a premium per night.
