This apartment is beautiful! It is on the third floor of a gorgeous villa. The views are spectacular. Spacious interior with good sized rooms and comfortable beds. The primary bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and the second room had two double sized beds with a large closet. Both rooms had plenty of closet space, and hangers if needed. Bathrooms were also stocked with a few basic necessities (razor, cotton pads, body wash, shampoo, etc).
The outdoor pool was a great place to relax with lounge chairs, an outdoor bar area, and lights for night time. It is a shared pool with the other neighbors, but we had it to ourselves when we were there. Kitchen had basic items. It did include a coffee and sugar canisters.
Mario, the maintenance man, was a fabulous contact person. He offered help with getting food, finding safe and trustworthy taxis, and carrying luggage up and down the stairs to the apartment. Mario checked in each day to make sure our stay was amazing and we had everything that we needed.
The apartment is within walking distance of the Ocean World resort and a mini market with basic food items. We were able to get eggs, bread, beer, milk, and butter.
Overall, everything about this apartment was great. The communication from the host and the maintenance man made things very easy for us during our stay, which was very helpful. This is a great choice is staying in Puerto Plata.
